4-D chess at the governmental/business levels. Aided by the hyperbolic media.

Nothing will come if it, and they will iron out a new lease.

Likely but I hate seeing this stuff get public, Troy is coming off like a lawyer and not someone who cares about the city.

18 games coming

Probably but it requires the cooperation of the player's union. They'll likely want an additional bye week and expanded rosters. It does mean more money for them so they're not categorically opposed.

Bengals don't have a lot of options. They can threaten to relocate but the Modell law would require them to offer the team for sale and I doubt the Brown family wants to go there. The Haslams filed a suit in Federal court in Cleveland to get the law declared invalid but that's a long shot. I'd expect it to be upheld and Jimmy to just use his political connections to get the legislature to amend it so that a move from downtown to the suburbs doesn't trigger it. That wouldn't help any threats from the Bengals to Hamilton County. So the most likely outcome is the team stays at Paychex with a less team-friendly lease.

Man accused of shooting teen at Joe Mixon's home says guards let him be 'attacked' in jail

Lamonte Brewer, who faces federal charges in the 2023 shooting at Joe Mixon's home, says Butler County Jail guards aren't protecting him from being attacked in jail.

Brewer's attorney Clyde Bennett II filed a motion Wednesday asking to transfer Brewer from the Butler County Jail in suburban Cincinnati to either the Boone or Campbell County Jail in Northern Kentucky. Bennett, who did not return The Enquirer's request for comment Thursday, said Brewer has been repeatedly attacked at the jail and guards are not protecting him. The motion did not describe the nature of these attacks.

The Butler County Sheriff's Office also did not return The Enquirer's request for comment Thursday. Brewer's plea hearing set for Friday has been canceled, according to court records.

Brewer charged in 2023 shooting outside Joe Mixon's home

Brewer, 36, is accused of shooting a 16-year-old boy, Joe Mixon's neighbor, who was playing with a toy gun outside the former Cincinnati Bengals running back's home in March 2023. The teen and others were playing with Nerf guns outside the home in Anderson Township.

Mixon and Brewer said they felt threatened because Mixon had been receiving threats on social media and at his home. The two men walked outside with semi-automatic pistols and Brewer shot at the teen, hitting him in the foot. At the time, Brewer was dating Mixon's sister, Shalonda Mixon, who pleaded guilty to obstructing justice in April.

Brewer is charged with felonious assault, tampering with evidence and gun charges. He faces up to 20 years in prison.

According to court documents, Brewer was previously convicted of two felonies in Alameda County, California, and has been arrested on gang and multiple gun charges.

They proved they care about the city when they didn't pack up and move for greener pasturees

numerous times over the past.

And they are involved in many philanthropic and charitable organizations that benefit the people here

and around here.

Seriously, if anything they operate too much like a charity foundation that also presents football games.

Brewer is a member of the Crips gang. My first guess would be that some of his fellow inmates have a problem with that.

He would have to go to May 3 without allowing a goal.

Had to go look why a former NFL player would be having a conversation with a second-tier team’s GK. Got it now.

Burnley is in 3rd slot in Championship. They are generally shit…but their keeper does lead the league in clean sheets (shutouts).

They face dead last Plymouth on Wednesday—who have only 4 goals in the last 5 matches.

Good bet for this week at least
