Here is an idea ... Draft both Mims (1) and Paul (2) and then play one at RT and one at LG. Your OL would be ... OBj -- Paul -- Karras -- Cappa -- Mims (Easily the largest one in NFL history).2 points

Wilkins agent is - Mulugheta. More guaranteed money than the Bengals are going to shell out. If they won’t guarantee year two for Tee, they aren’t doing it for Wilkins.2 points

I think this year might be the deepest first round in recent memory. Not many "A+ listers" ... But lots of A-/B+ prospects and like 4-5 deep at many of the top positions. This would be a great year to have 3 or more picks in the top 50. And some team is going to remake itself overnight. If I'm Chicago I'm trading down multiple times and stockpiling many picks in the first 2 rds. But they won't of course.2 points

Complete idiocy. Just forget returns altogether and put everything at the 50. Let’s just have 90-83 game scores as the baseline. QB’s won’t need 4000 yds anymore, but if they have less than 10 TD passes a game, it will be considered pedestrian. NAFL=National Arena Football League1 point

I'd be interested to hear about prospects people feel like are underrated or not talked about enough. Some of mine appear on my mocks, specifically: - Kris Jenkins: I think he might be better than is being forecasted. - Braden Fiske: After his combine performance the cat might be out of the bag (at least with forecasters) but he's one of those guys who is just a lunch pail football player that gets the job done - something I've always wished the Bengals would go for more often. - Ricky Pearsall: His combine performance demonstrates the crazy athleticism of this guy, but I agree with the profiles that say it doesn't always show up on the tape. He's way faster than he shows sometimes, but runs great routes, has very good hands and is tough as all hell. I love those guys. - Beaux Limmer: His senior bowl performance was fantastic, it's been talked about some but maybe not enough. He has the shorter arms that coaches dread but he did very well against some extremely high competition during that week. He's a center prospect apparently but that's fine, I'd like us to move on from Trey Hill who doesn't seem like a viable option at all and we need to think about what we'll be doing when Karras leaves (or his injured). - Dylan Laube: Showed at the senior bowl that when you motion him out he's a dangerous route runner and pass catcher, which fits us well. Like pretty well EVERY RB in this class his blocking needs improvement, but unlike many he actually seems "willing" in this regard. These are the kinds of guys the team needs IMO. Edit: Forgot one: - Kalen King: a good cover guy who was fantastic tackling and beating blocks. I love guys who beat outside blocks on an island and make individual plays from the CB position, I jump out of my seat for that stuff.1 point

Mims is probably at the top of my wishlist with Q. Mitchell. Two guys who could be AP players in the next five years.1 point

Well it depends on what you're looking for, I see Pearsall as a slot guy to replace Boyd. Yes we already picked Jones last year, but I don't know about anybody else but to me Jones is looking like he might be highly injury prone so IMO we need depth there (and Pearsall might beat him outright in a position battle). Wilson is certainly a freak but he's still a "tweener". I could see some teams trying to turn him into a TE and others using him as a redzone/first down match-up guy. He had some horrible games where he dropped everything so it's hard to say what you'd do with him, but he's a project and a "nice problem to have" if you have the picks to spare. I don't see him as replacing anybody and tbh I don't think Zac et al would choose him at all because it seems to me that Zac doesn't use receivers that way, they use TEs or go all out and have route runners everywhere.1 point

Stover is a good receiver, not such a good blocker. Better than Irv Smith or Tanner Hudson but he was late and whiffed on a lot of blocks for OSU last season.1 point

There are reasons that OK-quality linemen (or players in general) are going to be available once this annual round of musical chairs begins. Not everything is “not enough money” either. Teams “move on” from their OK’s also because they are just OK…and that OK-ness “moves on” to other teams (like the Bengals). Lateral moves for both. If they likely pay close to the same amount for an OK Becton, etc., I always wonder why they just don’t keep the current OK Jonah? Just navel gazing.1 point

I propose a 2 yr 10 mil contract to Elumanor .( Where both parties walking away satisfied) . Bechton is not dependable.1 point

Wilson is a freak . All day over Pearsall. Piersal has no length for contested catches . Not a fan of him at all..1 point

Rewatched Sinett and Stover. Sinett is great with run after the catch but he doesn't lineup much on inline and block. Stover seems like an all around guy who we would target. Not much run after the catch but a much more involved blocker1 point

One interesting thing....there are far fewer teams that need a TE then TEs https://www.ourlads.com/nfldepthcharts/depthchartpos/TE Dolphins-Patriots-Bengals-Maybe Colts but they have 3 young guys-Chargers-Commanders-Panthers-Seahawks-Houston Thats 9 teams that could potentially use a starter. The Panthers and Colts are maybes. Schultz probs back to the Texans Lets just say Texans-Schultz Colts-Woods Panthers-Hurst That leaves Patriots-Dolphins-Bengals-Chargers-Commanders-Seahawks for Henry-Patriots Everett-Chargers Fant-Seahawks Smith-Falcons Parkinson-Seahawks Thomas-Commanders Bowers-Draft Thats 7 for 6. If you take out Parkinson it's 6 for 6.1 point

TE's did there stuff. Theo Johnson jumped on the board for me. This is where I am now. TE Bowers-Ga (1) Sanders-Texas (2) Cade Stover-OSU (3) Ben Sinnott-K St (3) Theo Johnson-PSU (4) Tanner McLaughlin-Arizona (5) Trey Knox-S Carolina (5) McCallan Castles-Tenn Tip Reiman-Illinois (U) Mason Pline-Furman (U) Dalin Hooker-C State (U) Sinnott jumped up for me. I honestly think his number is an issue when watching him because he looks H-backy. Sanders didn't run well. Tip Reiman did great but I assume we re-sign Sample. He will go much higher than I would want to draft him but I'd love to have him on the roster. Stover ran in the 4.6's. Probably 4 future starter TEs for sure and then 2 other guys who might get there in McLaughlin and Johnson. Last night at Ja'Marr's birthday Cordel Volson opened the door for Joe Mixon who didn't see the open door, walked into the wall, fell on his ass and jumped up pounding his chest. Mixon later shot up a neighbor's yard and waived a pistol in a 50 year old woman's face and asked if she knew who he was. Told to me by a friend.1 point

As a proud graduate of a Catholic high school, I hate when I hear stuff like this. The first example is hardly a Christian message, but at the same time, I’ve heard time and time again about how private schools don’t handle kids who need IEPs or special services very well so those kids wind up at public schools and do better there. The second example is greed, plain and simple, and hardly in line with the tax free status that churches enjoy. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not anti private/religious/Catholic schools, not at all. But hearing stuff like this troubles me.1 point

2 friends kids both went to catholic schools, both took advantage of this, both were definitely fine paying it 1-Friend 1's school basically sent a memo home that said don't worry about this we still have ways to keep people out we don't want to go here. 2-Friend 2's school increased tuition by 2/3rds this year1 point
