I'm doing my annual abstaining for fear I will jinx it. And I would like to see T Dub uncloak from the stealth mode and vote. And whoever we pick... I hope we Fuck the Stealers. That has a nice ring to it, Fuck the Stealers.4 points

Why not make these the full time jerseys? šµāš« Instead of the hideous crap they switched to. I do not fucking understand how NFL teams can continually mess up their uniforms so badly. It is very simple what most fans want. How can billion dollar entities be so stupid about the most important aspect of their product, i.e. how it looks?2 points

TE Mitch Wilcox signs with New England. Cincinnati will surely select a TE at some point in the draft...right?1 point

Yeah, nobody is trading for Zach Wilson to make him their starter. He has a guaranteed contract as the #2 overall pick so the Jets are probably picking up most of the cost.1 point

I don't know think they signed him to start. I believe they'll draft Penix or Nix.1 point

I think heās the consensus #2 OT and probably wonāt be there.1 point

Oh, I totally agree. Someone will slide I simply do not think it will be Murphy. If he does, The Bengals should be on him like Stink on Stealers. As we know... five of the top 17 will be quarterbacks some of whom artificially inflated because next year is a poor quarterback draft (per an article I read and cannot find) barring a few early declarations (Arch's grandson and namesake?).1 point

Albert Breer in his newest column: What you need to know: Cincinnatiās gone into the past few drafts with an offensive line need and this yearās no different, with the departure of Jonah Williams opening a spot opposite Orlando Brown Jr. at tackle. In a class where seven or eight might go in the first round, itās hard to get a handle on which ones will be there at 18, but this might be Tyler Guyton or Amarius Mims territory. I also wouldnāt rule out Bowers, if he somehow slips (I canāt imagine heāll be there at 18) or a receiver (such as LSUās Brian Thomas) to get ahead of the potential departure (sooner or later) of Tee Higgins.1 point

āFatal errorā??? š Thatās a bit harsh. I prefer the Bengals trade back a few slots in round 1, still get a really good player and get an extra 3rd round pick; then use other draft capital to either move up in rounds 2 , 3, or 4 to get the guys they want, and/or to get even more picks in the sweet spot. However, what is likely to happen: SOMEONE will unexpectedly still be available at 18 that they just canāt get themselves to pass on. āThe player we have ranked 13th is still availableā¦!!!ā We then spend the next few rounds waiting and hoping that certain players fall to usā¦being disappointed a time or two, and lucking out a time or two. ā¦at least it wonāt be fatal. š It will be what it will beā¦and after each pick, this board will be live with discussions (and sometimes disgust) about the players that we should have taken instead. Iām looking forward to seeing what most of you have to sayā¦š1 point

J.C. Latham. I'm good with that. Hope he drops to 18. My thinking is if we see these guys as special (Murphy, Mims, etc) so do other people and they will be gone. Latham projects quite high in the OT rankings and hope he drops. But In Dave I Trust.1 point

Was working at a company awhile back and they had an event and Terry Bowden (ex-Auburn HC, coached at a several other places) was there. They had a Q&A and I asked him who was the best player he ever coached. He didn't hesitate and said Takeo Spikes... said he was the only guy he'd seen who could have gone directly from HS to pro football. These two LBs were both good picks, and they played for a long time. Simmons wasn't the player Spikes was, but he was still very solid for many years.1 point
