3 pointsFeels like half measures to me. They had plenty of cap space to sign one of the top FA guards but went with a discount option and a couple of scratch-off tickets. Plus depth, as you said - very rare for all 5 OL to start every game. Quarter billion invested in the QB and the best they can do is Lucas Patrick? Seems like they're always trying to do the least where the interior OL is concerned.3 points- Random 2025 Bengals related stuff

nothing worse to get signed honestly.. especially the mini. the stripes are THICK ass stickers.. so EVERY paint pen, marker, everything catches it and fucked up the auto. even on the big ones people often cut a stripe or sign small as hell in between.. terrible.. TERRIBLE.2 points- NFL uniforms ranked: See where Cincinnati Bengals stand
At least 5 times a year I just randomly get angry at the thought that the Dolphins, Broncos, and Bucs don't permanently switch back to their retro helmets and uniforms. They ruined perfection for modernist trash. 😡2 points- Bengals QB Joe Burrow dominates Netflix 'Quarterback' teaser trailer
Interesting when Mahomes needed a 5th down do-over from Urkel to beat him in the playoffs and Burrow is still up 3-2 overall.2 points- *** [RD 1] Bengals Select ~ SHEMAR STEWART, DE ***

2 pointsThe defense was obviously a huge problem last season, but the poor kicking game was a HUGE factor in missing the playoffs. The snapper-holder-kicker operation needs to get fixed by the opening game. There are going to be plenty of close games where a FG or lack thereof will be the difference. between winning and losing.2 points- Keeping Our Enemies Close: 2025

2 pointsThat would be a huge mistake, not because the value wouldn't be there but giving a guy a contract who wants to be here only to trade him is going to create animosity for other guys who want to be here. I think it's much more likely they keep Tee, and once Yoshi's contract is up let him go and let Burton slide into that spot.2 points- Random 2025 Bengals related stuff

Finally watched the entire thing. I've always kinda liked Jared Goff, and his story was amazing. Really impressed by the Lion's coaching staff and how they welcomed him into the fold. And I could have gone for at least 10 more minutes of his wife in a Bikini. Damn girl! If those puppies are for sale, I'll take the one with the lil' pink nose. Kirk Cousins seems like a really nice guy, but goddamn is he BORING. Total "Basic Bitch" energy. Kinda a-hole who likes Celine Dion and Coldplay. Joe Burrow might be going through a real life "Big". When they talk to him, it was like a 12 year old made a wish with a Genie to be the best QB in the league. As far as the rest... I felt like there was a lot of context missing about what was going on around them. Like we were looking at QB performance in a bubble. They only briefly mention the Lions missing their entire front 7 on defense. I liked Cousins' communication with his coaches. Hated Joe's. Goff was in the middle. Didn't really feel that same two way lane of conversation with Joe and his coaches. Maybe it just wasn't shown. In a broader sense... I wanted Joe to be a lot more vocal. Long before Episode 6. Joe's Mom was Terri Garr. Jamarr Chase looks exactly like his Dad. I don't think you can understate just how good Jamarr is, and how much those two guys being able to bring their existing chemistry to the league has helped them both achieve great things. I loved the "I didn't do shit" exchange. I also really enjoyed them showing Cousins struggling with a new playbook. Goes to show that even 13 year vets can struggle picking that stuff up and just how slim the margins are.1 point- NFL uniforms ranked: See where Cincinnati Bengals stand
Add the Falcons, Seahawks, Rams, Jags, and to a lesser extent the Cardinals. Literally every single one of these teams have throwbacks used on a limited basis or mothballed that are WAY better than what they wear on the regular.1 point- Random 2025 Bengals related stuff

32 should be Tennessee and 31 should be Seattle. Or vice versa as they are both hideous. Bengals all whites with orange helmet is #1 period. I just wish they would bring back the all white jersey with the black sleeves and block numbers. I'd buy another jersey for that.1 point- Random 2025 Bengals related stuff

This. As pointed out, Tee costs MORE than Chase over the next two years. (At least in cap hit) The cap structures for both deals make them impossible to quantify in the terms of signing bonus... But Chase got $6M more in cash this year - and also signed for one extra year. Tee got the Franchise tag last year, Jamarr played for rookie wages. Short term... Tee is pretty frontloaded. Jamarr also has quite the balloon payment coming up 3 years from now ($33M cap 2027, $41M cap 2028), one year before we have a possible out. The same year Tee becomes expendable. Hmmm... "We need you to negotiate an extension and lower your cap hit or we're not going to have a choice..." For a front office that doesn't get creative with contracts to begin with, there's something VERY fishy about frontloading a guy with a safe out in two years. You may love her, but the pre-nup says she gets nothing. And I have to be honest with you... The deal they did with Burrow is going to hamstring this club. Right now, Burrow, Chase, and Higgins are 33% of our cap. Giving Burrow a "Mahomes" deal and you're looking at around $12M in cap space we could be working with. A contract that looked more like Jefferson's, and we could cut Higgins and/or Chase's cap hits in half. But it also kind of a moot point when they still have 12% of their available cap space unspent. So... I guess we're being kind in assuming the club has a plan at all. Because I don't think they do. They can't figure out what to do with $32M in cap space. We pay like the #30 Defense, why expect a top ten unit? I guess us finishing #25 last year was pretty good. I mean.... I don't want to be doom and gloom. Sure, This year there wasn't much worth getting.... But we still have Jessie Bates' cap space available. And being the 2021 runner up is starting to fade. Since then, the Bengals have regressed, and I'm not seeing the moves this offseason to stop the bleeding. I mean... Hope the Rooks pan out. But damn... Is that your best plan? The Blind Squirrel method? Are the scouts different than the LAST time you tried this plan? How does this not meet the definition of insanity? But hey... Geno Stone was able to take a pay cut! And we cut that loser Pratt... Haha... He sucked anyway. We have two rookies, and when have rookies ever failed us! They're even writing the same puff pieces about the O-Linemen like they did Volson, and Ogubheui, and... 10 year vets are totally overrated. $32M gonna build a sweet ass trophy case for all our Lombardis! Who-Dey! We're a month away from our first preseason game against the Eagles and both RDE's remain unsigned. (Which, if they hold out puts at the #32 paid defense by a LONG shot) This is the plan... Again? How did two disgruntled WR''s start last year? Why do we keep having these dang slow starts. Let's blame Zac and call the agents idiots. Anyway... It's going to be up to Tee to keep his job. He's got an easy out in two years, but also a pretty manageable cap hit if the cap keeps growing like it has been. They'll use him to put the squeeze on Jamarr and Joe. They'll both restructure so we can keep our sacred $20M in free cap space. We're doing 95% of the job with only 90% of the resources. The accountant's dream. Ayn Rand would be proud.1 point- Bengals QB Joe Burrow dominates Netflix 'Quarterback' teaser trailer

Bengals QB Joe Burrow Grades Viewers Lip-Reading Skills, Details Heated Sideline Exchange with Zac TaylorJay Morrison Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow talks to a Netflix producer during an episode in the new season of "Quarterback." / Courtesy of Netflix CINCINNATI – Toward the end of last year’s Week 15 win at Tennessee, FOX cameras caught a heated exchange between Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor and quarterback Joe Burrow. Taylor didn’t provide any context to the situation in his postgame press conference, saying only, “It was just a conversation back and forth.” And though Burrow was wearing a microphone during the game, that week’s episode of “Hard Knocks: In-Season With the AFC North” opted to air only Taylor’s comments, leaving many to test their lip-reading skills to discern what had Burrow chaffed. In the new season of the Netflix documentary “Quarterback,” no lip reading is needed. The exchange is featured in Episode 6, which is the same one that features Burrow going into more detail about the burglary at his home than he previously has. The episode shows some of Burrow’s great plays, such as the touchdown to Chase Brown in which he scrambles while holding on to the ball for 9.013 seconds before throwing it, and his deep touchdown pass to Tee Higgins to set the single-season franchise record. But it also focuses on the large number of pre-snap penalties, which is what led to the exchange between Burrow and Taylor. After one false start, Burrow yells “What in the f—k are we doing, man?” as he walks off the field. “Wake the f—k up,” he adds. The show cuts to a shot of Burrow sitting on the bench in the final seconds of the game, shaking his head. That’s when Taylor approaches. Here’s the transcript: Taylor: “What to finish the game. That’s a great drive finishing. I know it’s frustrating …” Burrow: “That’s an embarrassing performance by us. F—king embarrassing.” Taylor: “I know. We’ll address it. But at the same time, let’s enjoy some of these wins and …” Burrow: “F—k that. F—k that. We sucked today. That was embarrassing. We jumped offsides f--king eight times.” Taylor: “I know that. I know that.” The show cuts to a sit-down interview with Taylor in a Bengals meeting room. “Sometimes I walk into an emotional moment, and I know I’m walking into an emotional moment, and it becomes a really emotional moment,” he says with a laugh. “And they may be viewed as conflict. It’s really just passion for the game.” That's followed by a montage of shots of Burrow stewing on the bench as a quote from him as played as a voiceover. “I understand that we won the game, and we want to be happy that we won the game, but at the same time, when things aren’t good enough, I’m not gonna act like they were.” https://www.si.com/nfl/bengals/bengals-qb-joe-burrow-grades-viewers-lip-reading-skills-details-heated-sideline-exchange-with-zac-taylor-01jzk6m0vd9s?fbclid=IwY2xjawLZYaZleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBicmlkETExdU1KZjgxd0RlQlNlT0tUAR4PCXBMAQEDJP7x7CzhaHXw-Ct1c4Lpckd66K6l-PwaTVbVrrlQlbX44AmU2g_aem_UQKnOF1ZA_D9ORcHKAcwRQ1 point- Bengals merchandise/sales/collectibles/swag

I think most NFL fans are trained to think that QB value can only be measured by playoff appearances and especially Super Bowl rings. Stats don't matter, injuries don't matter, front offices don't matter, coaching staffs don't matter, supporting casts don't matter...only playoffs and Super Bowl rings matter. Everything else? Just empty excuses to protect your overrated QB.1 pointAccount
