  1. I would call that an organization-wide issue, despite all the excuses. Like the opener "oh we didn't know which WR to gameplan around." Yeah, that definitely sucked, but it didn't happen without reason. Decisions made at the very top of the franchise led them there. It's ok to say "we let that drag on too long, we'll learn from that mistake" but instead it seems like it's always some new form of prevarication. Do they really think they're crushing it on every level & just victims of bad luck? Does anyone?
  2. @BlackJesus is really asking if Joe's jockstrap was left by the locker so he could steal it?
  3. Brook's quads need to be added to Ja'Marr's calves to form a super human. 💪🏾
  4. Feels like half measures to me. They had plenty of cap space to sign one of the top FA guards but went with a discount option and a couple of scratch-off tickets. Plus depth, as you said - very rare for all 5 OL to start every game. Quarter billion invested in the QB and the best they can do is Lucas Patrick? Seems like they're always trying to do the least where the interior OL is concerned.
  5. Those annual 0-2 starts are the main reason for the 9-8 record.
  6. Finally watched the entire thing. I've always kinda liked Jared Goff, and his story was amazing. Really impressed by the Lion's coaching staff and how they welcomed him into the fold. And I could have gone for at least 10 more minutes of his wife in a Bikini. Damn girl! If those puppies are for sale, I'll take the one with the lil' pink nose. Kirk Cousins seems like a really nice guy, but goddamn is he BORING. Total "Basic Bitch" energy. Kinda a-hole who likes Celine Dion and Coldplay. Joe Burrow might be going through a real life "Big". When they talk to him, it was like a 12 year old made a wish with a Genie to be the best QB in the league. As far as the rest... I felt like there was a lot of context missing about what was going on around them. Like we were looking at QB performance in a bubble. They only briefly mention the Lions missing their entire front 7 on defense. I liked Cousins' communication with his coaches. Hated Joe's. Goff was in the middle. Didn't really feel that same two way lane of conversation with Joe and his coaches. Maybe it just wasn't shown. In a broader sense... I wanted Joe to be a lot more vocal. Long before Episode 6. Joe's Mom was Terri Garr. Jamarr Chase looks exactly like his Dad. I don't think you can understate just how good Jamarr is, and how much those two guys being able to bring their existing chemistry to the league has helped them both achieve great things. I loved the "I didn't do shit" exchange. I also really enjoyed them showing Cousins struggling with a new playbook. Goes to show that even 13 year vets can struggle picking that stuff up and just how slim the margins are.
  7. 12 days and 3 guys still don't have contracts (or 2 + 1 guy telling us he wont play on his current one.)
  8. nothing worse to get signed honestly.. especially the mini. the stripes are THICK ass stickers.. so EVERY paint pen, marker, everything catches it and fucked up the auto. even on the big ones people often cut a stripe or sign small as hell in between.. terrible.. TERRIBLE.
  9. At least 5 times a year I just randomly get angry at the thought that the Dolphins, Broncos, and Bucs don't permanently switch back to their retro helmets and uniforms. They ruined perfection for modernist trash. 😡
  10. Interesting when Mahomes needed a 5th down do-over from Urkel to beat him in the playoffs and Burrow is still up 3-2 overall.
  11. If the last 40 years sucked so bad, why are you still here?
  12. The defense was obviously a huge problem last season, but the poor kicking game was a HUGE factor in missing the playoffs. The snapper-holder-kicker operation needs to get fixed by the opening game. There are going to be plenty of close games where a FG or lack thereof will be the difference. between winning and losing.
  13. This doesn't look like a team trying to maximize the window for their 28 year old QB.
  14. That would be a huge mistake, not because the value wouldn't be there but giving a guy a contract who wants to be here only to trade him is going to create animosity for other guys who want to be here. I think it's much more likely they keep Tee, and once Yoshi's contract is up let him go and let Burton slide into that spot.
  15. Dylan Fairchild vs UFC Sean Strickland. State wrestling champion showing his moves. This was a heck of a pick with those moves. https://youtube.com/shorts/IRZpxpqeTxI?si=IdOz2AlS5i4h6jtQ

Clipse album dropped today, - Let God Sort Em Out. its very good.
  17. yep, they are small, cheap and easy to hold onto and hold out, so i get it, it checks every box except being a productive item to get signed..
  18. Yeah. That plus Lou equals a 9-8 record? If y'all say so... Guess we'll see
  19. Add the Falcons, Seahawks, Rams, Jags, and to a lesser extent the Cardinals. Literally every single one of these teams have throwbacks used on a limited basis or mothballed that are WAY better than what they wear on the regular.
  20. 32 should be Tennessee and 31 should be Seattle. Or vice versa as they are both hideous. Bengals all whites with orange helmet is #1 period. I just wish they would bring back the all white jersey with the black sleeves and block numbers. I'd buy another jersey for that.
  21. I agree wholeheartedly and I do hope he does
  22. He was and is the best tackle from the 2024 draft
  23. That made no sense. Just more eeyoring.
  24. This explains at least part of why the old guard Dems are shitting themselves. This crazy SOB wants to act on what they claim to stand for, against their personal interest. And he seems capable, too - it's not loveable old crazy Grandpa or a grandstanding TikTok celebrity. Woah now, buddy! What's in it for AIPAC?
  25. Change seems to scare them into inaction. The Chase/Higgins contract negotiations seemed to take all of their off-season energy. Sometimes I think the FO just curls up in a ball in the corner when they have to look at doing a large contract.

I've heard getting 1/2 of them to show up ready to go on stage is a miracle. Blueprint is coming through soon. Might go see Cannibal Corpse in a few months, more local shows until then. The big venues calm down when it's still 100f as the show lets out.
  27. ay where's the off-topic ninja emoji? bring back the OG set anyway the kennedys are so cursed that crazy CIA/mafia/KGB/time-traveler assassinations are only half the story
  28. If Burton starts acting like a pro & blows up this year, do we trade Higgins? Wouldn't hate it for a 1st or an equivalent player on defense.
  29. There’s a lot of reasons why this isn’t happening here. First of all, zoning regulations now usually require a minimum square footage and lot size, and these homes would probably not meet the requirements. Second of all, these would probably fall under “manufactured housing “ and even if they have a foundation and are attached as real estate, they’re more difficult to obtain financing on. Third of all, because it’s too practical. This would be great for in fill housing in urban neighborhoods for a start. You could build a community of these in the suburbs, if the suburbs would accept them. Sears used to make homes. They had numerous floor plans, would deliver the kit with all the supplies to the lot, and you would build it. They’re close to 100 years old, or older, and still standing, and are really cool. I have one up the street from me. In the 40’s after the war, you had Lustron Homes, which were built out of ceramic coated metal. They were about 1000 square feet with carports. Really cool and efficient for GIs coming back and starting families. 75+ years later, still standing. You are starting to see houses being built with 3D printers that are really cool, cost efficient, and more durable than stick built homes.
  30. I think most NFL fans are trained to think that QB value can only be measured by playoff appearances and especially Super Bowl rings. Stats don't matter, injuries don't matter, front offices don't matter, coaching staffs don't matter, supporting casts don't matter...only playoffs and Super Bowl rings matter. Everything else? Just empty excuses to protect your overrated QB.
