Thanks for legitimately answering my question instead of being sarcastic assholes like the other two before you.

I guess you don't want them in your wolfpack.

i guess bengaled got his wish... we are like everyone else!..

hooray! now let's get the next one done and i'll be on cloud nine. i'd love to see them put the same emphasis on signing gresham in time for camp as they overwhelmingly did for TO. gresham has a helluva lot more to learn than TO does.

good news. Sean Weatherspoon, pick #19, just signed.

And by a team that hasn't started training camp yet. It's interesting how some teams put a priority on getting their picks in BEFORE camp starts. But since the Bengals always have to be followers, they basically never get their first round picks in on time. Sad, and it's impossible to know how many games it has cost them over the years.

even so, maybe it will be different this year. mike really wants to win. if we can get a deal inked in the next couple days, i'll be tickled to death.

It already is the same. I'm sure he'll be in soon but, imo, there is no excuse to not get lower-first round picks in camp on time.

now THAT'S a classic, KENNETH talking about whining. how about using all that energy to discuss something bengal related for a change, KENNETH. for a guy who spends all his time on here offering nothing more than a consistent trashing of other members, you surely have some nerve. to be expected, i guess.

Bro, at least 60% of the time my posts are very concise statements about where I think the team is headed or what I think we need to do. You're currently pissed because I also illuminate stupidity, and since you're primarily a stupid ass, you tend to get the brunt of it. SO SOLLY!! :on_the_quiet: :on_the_quiet:

Texans Sign 20th Overall Pick Kareem Jackson settting the ceiling for Gresham deal.

Now Gresham is slotted.

Great, ...another agent trying to make a name for himself by holding up a deal. The team needs to stop talking up these guys before they are signed.

The moment you draft them then stop talking about them.

In the agent biz, ...its always about "what have you done lately."

You're constantly having to make a name for yourself.

The only person who benefits from a holdout is the agent. The player certainly doesn't. He ends up looking like a bust when a good chunk of the season is lost to him. The team doesn't since that player isn't ready on time.

The same could be said of Sports in general.

Unless it is an All-Star game.

It has only been 2 days.

There were only eight 1st round picks signed going into this morning.
Now there are 10. That means 22 are not signed yet.

Anyway, it takes 2 sides to make a deal. And given the fact that the Bengals
have only signed 2 draft picks on time in 8 years, well, I'd say they have a lot
to do with the holdouts too. Not just Agents trying to make a name for themselve
and more $$$.

...that's because Mike Brown (rightly) views the player as worth less money as time passes and training camp wears on. He is worth less at that point. He becomes a future project and not able to help the team much that season.

The player doesn't realize at the time that the few extra bucks he is making by holding out is hurting him in perception around the league. The inevitable articles come out at the end of that season asking the same old and tired question, ..."is the guy a bust?"
