Jeff Faine was let go by Tampa in March. He's 31 and wants to play a few more years. May be best option. Rookie Trevor Robinson starts Thurs

Anyone know much about Faine?

Well, sounds like he's got us by the balls then. Not many veteran centers who could come in. Pay whoever won't let dalton get killed.

I wonder how bad Boling would be at C and try Roland and Collins thursday at guard....I dunno. Sounds scary as shit to me now that I look at it.

Plug and go. It's not like Cook was lights out. Maybe this new kid is a bad ass.

So, you expect us to go into the season with 3/5 brand new parts on the oline, and it's just "plug and go"... Especially the center?? I think not..

Yes, that's what I expect. What else are you going to do? Play with four linemen? Don't freak out yet. You never know... this new kid could be a good one. It happens all the time.

Well obviously we will field a team.. I'm not freaking out.. But the line was already inconsistent and not quite on the same page.. Now we will be replacing our center 2 weeks before the season, and he will have rookies playing on either side of him..

It's not a good scenario.

Hey! Johansen responded to me on twitter! I almost never get responses. Good to hear he seems confident...

First step would be to move Clint Boling to center. Then you find a G/C to plug or backup LG.

I'd like to see Roland play the entire Colts game at LG and Boling get a fair bit of time at Center. Roland shows potential as a guard where he doesn't have to play in space and his lack of speed get exposed.
