Good to know. Clearly the players like it now.

Was he asked directly or did it just come up on twitter or something?

If you are referring to Rey, we all know hes a pussy anyways lol.

Also, im sure the drive to clifton really sucked today.

Finally, if they cant concentrate in practice during the cold, how are they going to concentrate during the game in the cold?

They had to travel a whole 7 miles to use the bubble? Sounds like a non- fucking issue to me.
Yeah if they have an agreement to use it when they need it, its not much of an issue. The only time they'd ever really need it is in December or January. Chances are UC isnt still playing, and even if they are practicing, the bengals can only practice like 2 hours a day anyways, so it shouldnt be an issue as far as timing goes.

I have no connection whatsoever to this issue prior to this thread nor to the Mike Brown element. Yet it seems pretty clear that the players (Whitworth, Rey, Dalton) all like to practice inside in these situations. There are quotes posted from 1181 that say just that.

The 7 miles to Clifton are certainly manageable, but it's certainly not as easy as just packing 60 guys on to bussess.

Why? Buses pull in right under pbs and go. Probably get police escort like they do from hotel on game day.

For all those who insist on a bubble, still no one has stated where downtown there is room for the bengals to put one.

Put it on a a big barge, dock that bitch right there by PBS.

This is a dead horse conversation/thread. No offense to the original poster.
Regardless of who is paying for what or what team provides this or that, games
are played OUTSIDE in the month of DECEMBER!! Okay, the Bengals/Taxpayers
of Cincinnati however you wanna put it or however it pans out spends all this
time, money and effort to put this F'n bubble in and we somehow figure out a
way to win a game passed the 1st round of the playoffs and have to go to New
England and win an AFC Championship game, you think the difference is going
to be whether or not we practiced in a fucking bubble in the greater Cincinnati
area or not!!?? All this practice bubble talk is a fucking joke especially when the
fans won't even show up/sell out the stadium after a rookie QB took them to the
playoffs and is on the verge on doing so again!! Show up and sell out the OUTDOOR
stadium first and or win a playoff game first then worry about what kind of conditions the team is practicing in!!
You think KiJana Carter's career in Cincinnati would've been any better if we were practicing
or playing in a bubble then?

All this IF we had an indoor facility to practice in would've done this or that is a joke of an excuse
for anything!!

Mike Brown's a cheap fuck because he wont spend the money on an indoor practice facility!! Whaaaaaaaaaaa!

If I recall correctly we kicked the shit out of the San Diego Chargers back in the day at ole
Riverfront Stadium on a day the wind chill outside was minus 59 degrees!!! Damn shame we
didnt have a little pussy assed bubble to practice in before that game!!

People/society in general are such pussies any more it's not even funny!! I wont say when I waa kid I had to walk 5 miles uphill both ways in knee deep snow but if the buses didnt run I had to walk to school unless it was shut down
altogether!! And that was a helluva walk for a 6 year old kid!! You know what? I shut up and did it! Nowadays you
get pulled over for not wearing your seatbelt!! When I was a KID, not an adult, we didnt even have fucking seatbelts!!

Everyone, fans and players and owners should shut the fuck up and WIN GAMES before they start demanding/wanting/expecting to be treated like a princess!! IE: indoor practice facilities!!
I know this is off topic but it struck a nerve with me.

I don't know if I agree about the practice bubble, but I definately agree with how soft society is now. Everyone needs to man up, but when political correctness governs how we all should conform is it any wonder why everyone's a "pussy" today? We worry about little Johnny not getting a trophey in kid's baseball so every kid who plays gets a freaking trophey so all the kid's self esteem isn't ruined. Have your dad play catch with you once in awhile. Practice and get better you stupid little brat. There are winners and losers in society, shut up and learn how to deal with it.

Look at Ohio High School football now. There are going to be seven classes because it isn't fair because some school in BFE isn't good enough to when a championship. Be more dedicated you stupid fucks and maybe you can win.

Sorry for the rant!!

I am wondering how many posters that were deciding the team doesnt need a practice bubble was sitting out in the front yard in a lawn chair while typing?
I wonder how many people that work jobs that require them to be outside, told their bosses that they would rather work inside on Wednesday?

Here in southern Indiana about the only folks I saw outside working were shoveling snow...the one's that actually made it to work that is.

I was wondering how this teams game effort correlates to bad weather on the practice days (Weds-Fri) prior. If I remember correctly, the Cowboy game the weather sucked for those days, lots of rain and the Phiily game the weather sucked Weds and Thurs.

I just wonder if having an indoor practice facility would make a difference?
UR not suggesting that weather during the week lost that Cowboy game RU? Only one thing lost that game and it was the Head Coach with remarkably bad clock management skills and no concept of how to win on game day.

Yeah, if he hadn't coached all the WR's and DB's into having all those drops, dammit!

Wow, you really don't get it...but, go ahead, blame AJ and absolve the boneheaded game day coach.
Marvin and Gruden made some questionable decisions, sure, but it doesn't change the fact that Green dropped a touchdown, dropped another 3rd down catch, hawkins dropped 2 3rd down catches, and marvin jones had a drop.

No one's absolving the coaches, but it certainly seems you're absolving the players of any blame.

Certainly the drops did not help and I am not absolving anyone of anything. I am placing the bulk of the blame where it belongs. With 5 minutes to go, a first down and a 2 point lead, Marv completely shut down the rush game that was killing the Pokes. Three straight passes is what you do when you need points and have to conserve clock to get them. We didn't need any points at all, we just needed to move the chains a couple of times and kill the clock. Marvin threw that game in the trash as sure as he did the Tampa Bay game a couple of years ago.

fwiw, Gruden said it was his decision to keep passing as 1) he wanted to score, and 2) Dallas was stacking the box. You can hate on Marvin for not trumping him, but it was Gruden that made the decision.

And while I hated the decision at the time (and still do to an extent) and was right there with you screaming at the tv, Dalton was 3 for 4 in the 4th quarter. He was getting 5-6yd chunks, which is better than what they would have gotten against a stacked box. The killer was a 10yd holding penalty that made a 3rd and 2 a 3rd and 12, and Zeitler getting slaughtered on a sack.

I must say, Mr. Eleven that you are on a very short list of posters here whose opinions I can usually respect. I take issue with everyone, including Marv and my brother-in-law, who share this mentality that it is impossible to run the ball against this so-called stacked box. The numbers on this one do not support that theory in any way. The Firm broke a really nice 42 yard rush play at approximately 11:39. At that point Benjarvis is averaging 7.4 per rush and even if you take away the sweet 42 yarder he's still getting 4. 6. With 11:30 left in the game and his back having a great day, the Firm touches it ONCE the rest of the game. Despite your considerable talent for this, this one is indefensible.

What this tells me is that Marvin does not trust his RB, he does not trust his offensive line, he does not trust his defense and he does not trust himself.
In my view, he finally hit Sam Wyche stupid.
