Americans with a lot free time on their hands thanks to Obamacare can spend it pursuing their happiness instead of earning a living, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Sunday.

During an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” host Candy Crowley read Pelosi part of a letter signed by union goon James Hoffa Jr. that described Obamacare’s impact on employers as a way to “destroy the foundation of the 40-hour work week.”

“That’s pretty tough from a loyal Democratic constituency,” said Crowley, sometimes considered a pretty loyal Democratic constituency herself.

Pelosi was unfazed.

Some parts of Obamacare need to be clarified, she acknowledged, but losing that 40-hour work week will really free Americans to “pursue your happiness … follow your passion.”

“Overwhelmingly, for the American people, this is a liberation,” the San Francisco millionaire said dreamily, possibly confusing “the American people”  who have to make a living with her fellow guests at George Soros’s wedding Saturday in New York.

“It’s about wellness, it’s about prevention, it’s about a healthy America,” she said.

Actually, it’s about time she hung it up.

it's not a load of shit, the people keep electing people like pelosi, we get what we deserve.

The most viable candidate running against her was another one of these seditious anti-tax Ayn Rand & Ron Paul supporters.  Can't really blame the electorate for going with the typical "lesser evil" choice from the bullshit puppet theater that is our political process.

Look at all the elections she should have lost.  Voting for "lesser evil"'s is fucking lazy and is the entire problem.

But really, things aren't that bad with her running shit.  If they were really bad enough, change would happen.

The way elections are financed bought means consistently facing either/or choices for voters, with the winner being owned by the same corporations and special interests regardless.  That's the problem.

And while that is true, the people still can influence the process if they are well orginized enough, and on the same side. THAT is the problem.

The reason you can buy elections is because we the people never gave enough shits to stop it.  All the dumb laws that exist, happened on our watch.  We have what we deserve.
