Cris Collinsworth, Darnay Scott, Carl Pickens, Chad Johnson, Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins......if I were the Bengals I'd never take a first round WR again. Just keep picking those guys in the 2nd round and don't look back.

Higgins would go in first round this year..

And yeah your right..

I like big receivers..small of these look like midgets with speed..

I'd LOVE to get Rondale Moore in the 2nd round if they fix that OL.

Small but plays extremely big. Steve Smith 2.0

By the way, for any position group you can look at this team’s history and say “why draft that in the first round - we’ve had misses over the years there”. Literally, all of them. So if they find the next Eddie brown or AJ green in round one, so be it. Better then finding the next Dan Wilkinson or John Copeland and passing on the next AJ green...

which is to say, find a difference maker and don’t miss. And don’t lock into one position. Other than QB, RB and kicker/punter you could make an argument that if there is a

special difference making player in the top 10 wherever the bengals pick, then they need to take them. But they shouldn’t be passing up devonta smith to reach at T because Sewell is gone...

There's just no reason whatsoever for this team to take a WR in R1, IMO.

If they are able to significantly improve the O-line in free agency, the thought of Burrow throwing to Higgins, Chase, Boyd, CJ/Drew, and Gio/Joe is better than viagra.

I don't disagree but there just always seems to be one WR just as good as the rest that somehow "slides" to the 2nd round, and the Bengals, for whatever reason, always seem to be able to hone in on that guy and benefit.

Or rounds 2 or 3 IMO..  & no "pass-catching TE" aka slow possession WR either, please.

An actual TE that can block and make contested catches, maybe.  Just not another insane reach like Sample.

WR & RB are the only positions on the roster I feel good about.  QB obviously, assuming Burrow's return to form.  Everyone seems to be taking it for granted & that worries me.

LOL, wish it was that easy. But we are the Bengals so maybe just go with what has worked be it luck or skill.
