Happy for TB. Loved what he brought to the Bengals, although there were some maddening drops in a few key games the last few years, for sure.

Hope it works out for him... he'll add a lot to their WR corps in being an experienced target for their young QB, as well as in the locker room.

Where did he sign?

I was on record as wanting OT Patrick Paul in Rd 2 if the Bengals went DT (Murphy) or CB (DeJean) in Rd 1.

But it sounds like he was desperately simping on Dolphins cock all day, even to the point of having his agent harass them to take him (which they did). So we dodged a bullet there, I'm happy with Jenkins instead.

^ Re: Patrick Paul,

His grandfather was the former military dictator / president of Nigeria who was assassinated in the 1960s (see clip below) ... So he will fit great in the city of Miami, which is a haven for exiled relatives of deposed leaders from all around the third world. 👀

^ Duke Tobin getting Trent Brown for $ 1 million less than the Eagles gave Becton is another notch is his belt though. 🤓

The Bengals don't overpay, which is why they are always in such good cap health.

It probably assumes the returning players play similarly in 2024 to how they did in 2023. We had a poor defense last year and lost Chido and Reader. If the AI thinks Newton and Jenkins aren't as good as the players who left, it would give us a poor score. Likewise the departures of Mixon and Boyd, it probably uses a fantasy type model that says Moss won't have as many yards as Mixon and Jones or Iosivas won't have as many as Boyd, therefore we score fewer points and give up more. That's fallacious reasoning but might explain their prediction.
