The rest of the league probably noticed that Hudson moved seamlessly into the starting lineup over Irv Smith. Tanner was productive but he's also bounced around the league for a while, even has a Super Bowl ring from his time in Tampa. I wouldn't be surprised if Hudson gets offers from other teams.

I think he might be restricted. 🤷‍♀️

If we’re going to draft a TE not named Bowers, I’m hoping it ends up being the Kansas St kid…Ben Sinnott. Tough ass kid.

Me too, what I read about him thought makes me think if we do we might change how we use TEs a bit, as I read he fits more of an H-Back role.

^ However, if Bowers slides past #10 on draft day ... Then you start making phone calls. As he's the complete opposite skill set of Sample and they would both compliment each other.

yep.. I just couldn't imagine that dude in this offense... Instant star with Joey slinging it to him...

TE's did there stuff. Theo Johnson jumped on the board for me. This is where I am now.

TE
Bowers-Ga (1)
Sanders-Texas (2)

Cade Stover-OSU (3)
Ben Sinnott-K St (3)

Theo Johnson-PSU (4)

Tanner McLaughlin-Arizona (5)
Trey Knox-S Carolina (5)

McCallan Castles-Tenn

Tip Reiman-Illinois (U)
Mason Pline-Furman (U)
Dalin Hooker-C State (U)

Sinnott jumped up for me. I honestly think his number is an issue when watching him because he looks H-backy. Sanders didn't run well. Tip Reiman did great but I assume we re-sign Sample. He will go much higher than I would want to draft him but I'd love to have him on the roster.

Stover ran in the 4.6's.

Probably 4 future starter TEs for sure and then 2 other guys who might get there in McLaughlin and Johnson.

Where I am with FA's

One interesting thing....there are far fewer teams that need a TE then TEs

https://www.ourlads.com/nfldepthcharts/depthchartpos/TE

Dolphins-Patriots-Bengals-Maybe Colts but they have 3 young guys-Chargers-Commanders-Panthers-Seahawks-Houston

Thats 9 teams that could potentially use a starter. The Panthers and Colts are maybes. Schultz probs back to the Texans

Lets just say

Texans-Schultz

Colts-Woods

Panthers-Hurst

That leaves Patriots-Dolphins-Bengals-Chargers-Commanders-Seahawks for

Henry-Patriots
Everett-Chargers
Fant-Seahawks
Smith-Falcons
Parkinson-Seahawks
Thomas-Commanders

Bowers-Draft

Thats 7 for 6. If you take out Parkinson it's 6 for 6.

Rewatched Sinett and Stover.

Sinett is great with run after the catch but he doesn't lineup much on inline and block. Stover seems like an all around guy who we would target. Not much run after the catch but a much more involved blocker

Stovers a baller .

Hurst type.

Good fit here.
