I just read that although Cousins signed a 4 year deal, most of the guaranteed monies are in the first two years so clealry the falcons see him as a two year QB unless he outperforms of course. Still a strecth to pick Penix at 8.

I do like Penix even with his history of injuries 

He bounced back strong this season.

 

Maybe the Falcons have the last laugh no?

That was a pretty idiotic move by Atlanta. They could have added a top receiver to their offense or a pass rusher or CB. Instead they took the oldest QB in the draft to sit behind their new free agent QB.
