Why are you blaming Frank Pollack for Orlando Brown’s drop off and not Orlando Brown himself?

Because Pollack is the OL Coach and Brown is an offensive lineman.  The same OL Coach whose system

has caused Burrow to take a serious pounding the last 3 years as evidenced by the amount sacks he's endured

despite having one of the quickest releases in the NFL.  Last year resulting in Burrow not even being able to

complete!

If a 7-year NFL veteran and a 4-time All Pro needs that much coaching…he really isn’t all of that.

That doesn't change Pollacks job title and responsibility's though.  With $31 million guaranteed he's

not going anywhere.  If Brown is resting on his laurels, it's Pollack's job and responsibility to fix it.

Unless he maybe arrived here and was asked to do something fundamentally different than he's used to by said coach.

And then maybe every other FA signing also seems to regress under that same coach.

Almost like there's one common factor...

The crapshoot of the draft anyway I still believe he has talent . he didn't play LT at Clemson and block for Trevor Lawrence because he stunk BUT his body language tells me he has no fire or desire to play

Just look at the pic BJ posted.

No fire for real..

Now that Jonah and this fellow are gone…who will the next scapegoat going to be?

Sorry…Volson is still here. I mean after him?

Sorry to say it but

maybe OBJ or Cappa...

Hoping for the best from them but

somewhat skeptical this year.

Frank Pollack (OL Coach and Run Game Coordinator).  He hasn't developed a single draft pick since he's been here

and Orlando Brown Jr. took a pretty big step backwards last year!!

George was fantastic in preseason. I get its a numbers game but not wanting him back would be a mistake.

Agree..

Maybe to practice squad .

If I or anyone on this board went into work Monday and were laid off would Jackson Carman give a shit?  NO!

I can't speak for anyone else but I don't have a $5-$6 million nest egg either and I'm 33 years older than he is.

The guy has probably been coddled and given every advantage and special treatment since high school not to

mention a free college education.  I'll save my empathy for someone more deserving like homeless vets etc. etc. etc.

Not to mention boinking a 15 year old girl and it being spun into something completely different.

That just ain't right no matter how you cook it or how much litter the cat kicks over the cat shit.

George was a perennial bubble guy who was picked on and exposed this preseason. What have you done for me lately might as well translate to Not For Long.

You may have watched more of George than I .

The hype around camp seemed to be he was holding his own.

Didn't know he was picked on and exposed..

Pollack is a high quality OL coach. When they hired him back everyone here was 100% onboard with it. He got a couple picks he didn’t want and now everyone is ready to get out the torches and pitchforks. All you’re really doing is showing your collective asses. No clue whatsoever.

Tks for complimenting the boards inability to focus on what a great coach he's been.

Definitely elevated the Oline play since arriving..

A human being was fired from their job today, nothing to celebrate.

Did he deserve it, absolutely...should it be celebrated, I would say no.

A human being that the Bengals paid a few Million to for doing absolutely Nothing.

He's earned his title as a Bust.

Celebrate his departure..

Too long ago and too far back to find the source so it will remain a conspiracy theory until someone else remembers it.

There was a thread on it back in the day.  Something that he had recently turned 18 yada.  But still...

He forced himself on her over her objections, and being 37 times her size, she was helpless to do anything about it. Her account was 100% believable. Being a blue chip Clemson recruit, the matter was taken care of as matters usually are taken care of when it comes to prized recruits.

Carman did not deny having sex with the girl. His "defense" was that it was consensual. With a 15-year-old girl.

For some observers, there are things done OFF the field by an athlete that render any athletic accomplishments or prowess ON the field by that athlete entirely moot and irrelevant when forming their opinions of said athlete. They also couldn't possibly care less how much money that athlete made.

If the worst thing that ever happens to Carman is being fired from a job that's just handed him $5.6M, he should consider himself to be an extremely fortunate young man.

Agree in theory but in Carman's case I have a difficult time working up a lot of sympathy for

a guy who made several millions of dollars for a job where he was off for half the year.

Hope he invested wisely.

And wonder what number Cleveland will give him by the end of the week.

Don’t laugh. Cleveland has suffered numerous injuries on their OL and are looking at him. 😮
