That doesn't change Pollacks job title and responsibility's though.  With $31 million guaranteed he's

not going anywhere.  If Brown is resting on his laurels, it's Pollack's job and responsibility to fix it.

Easier said than done. There is a reason the Chiefs let him walk.

There's a reason the Cowboys let Pollack walk too.  The guy had a 1st round pick at LT,(Tyron Smith) a guy that was considered a top 10 pick

but slid at LG, (Lael Collins), a 1st round pick at C, (Travis Frederick), a 1st round pick at RG, (Zach Martin), and a 7 yet vet at RT, (Doug Free).

Helen Keller could have made a name for herself as an OL coach with those players!  Now that he doesn't have all that you wind up with the

most sacked QB in the NFL in 2021 and 2022 and couldn't even finish 2023 because of the pounding he's taking!

What I wouldn't give for Burrow to get the kind of protection Jim Hart got in the mid-70s for the Cardinals when Jim Hanifan was offensive line coach in St. Louis. Behind Conrad Dobler (RG), Dan Dierdorf (RT), et al, Hart was sacked 36 times.

In 3 years.

From 1975-77, Hart was sacked 36 times in 42 games. (3.20%)

So far Burrow's been sacked 148 times in 52 games. (7.24%)

Can you imagine what Burrow could do with that kind of protection? Or even anything close?

Lost in those years, was that offensive linemen had to use their brute strength only to ward away the opposing linemen (who could grab/throw/slap up side head).

They could not extend their hands or latch onto jerseys like they do now. That strength was used to pin forearms into chests and then opposite bull-rush them away. And in Dobler’s case, use any undetected means necessary.

Those linemen were smaller back then…but I rarely saw weak run or pass blockers…and definitely didn’t see “dancing bears”.

Right, so pardon me for not doing backflips because the "new" Bengals FO is good at social media.  People that allowed him to be the most sacked QB for the season more than once are not competent. The only fundamental difference between the "old" Bengals and the new is Joe Burrow, and look how they've used him.

A human being that the Bengals paid a few Million to for doing absolutely Nothing.

He's earned his title as a Bust.

Celebrate his departure..

So he worked hard enough to put himself in position to be selected in the draft and be paid accordingly, it didn't work out for various reasons...which is quite common for NFL players..but have fun celebrating someone losing their job, that's not weird at all...

Definitely not weird to white knight for multimillionaire pro athletes that don't know you exist.  You're setting a stellar example for the youth of America and not tiresomely sanctimonious at all.  We should all be ashamed of ourselves.

Nobody is denying he didn’t work hard.  Nobody is celebrating it, but nobody feels sorry for the guy except you. He is no different than a CEO who gets hired, does a terrible job but ends up getting paid $20mil in stock options anyways.

I went to Dierdorf and Hart’s steakhouse once in 1992. Very swanky, but good steak.

Defending a guy that forced himself on a 15 year old child is not weird at all either.  (Fucked up if you ask me!)  Putting these guys on a pedestal as a

child is one thing but doing it as an adult is bizarre!  I guess we should all wear black on Wednesday in mourning of the players that don't make an NFL

roster?!
