I hate them, but I respect thier organization. They were 8-8 in 2019. In any event, with 21 straight non-losing seasons, point taken. I would surmise, though, that this fanbase would not be happy with this either. They were last in a SB in 2010 (lost) and have been out of the playoffs 4 times since. When making the playoffs, they have been one-and-done 5 times, lost divisional round twice, and conference championship once. Around here, this would be “Marvin Mediocrity”. Funny thing is: the Stealer fans I know think so as well. They just insert Tomlin’s name. 1 Quote

It's not as simple as hiring more people though.. Even if they're qualified it's still up to the family & Tobin (who may as well be family at this point) to value the judgment of a bunch of new scouts when it contradicts their own ideas. Once again the culture of nepotism does not encourage dissenting viewpoints. To put it bluntly, they're not going to hire a bunch of people to come in and show them they know fuck-all about building a football team. At best they'll bring on some extra yes-men who grasp the power dynamic and are happy to go along with it. So, basically, what they have now but with more cars in the parking lot. 2 Quote

What if these are the 'glory days' before the complete "McKinsey / Bain Capital" corporate mindset takeover? 😒 We will only know once he is gone. But the younger gals 'seem' to be moving in the direction of increasing the franchise value. Mike is not smart enough (or too stubborn) to undertsand that you can both (a) increse the franchise value and (b) increse the annual income by INVESTING correctly. Quote

I have no doubt that Troy is a complete dimwit. Looks and acts like one. His interaction with Whit was so cringe worthy, it is exactly the opposite of what you want to do to build a solid team and team chemistry. You can depart from players in a fully respectful way, shake hands and leave on understanable terms. I have no idea what Pumpkin herself will do - she may go full Mikey or she may open things up.
