Great ending. 49ers deserve Super Bowl misery I don't mind Mahomes. Like him better than Brady, LeCrap Jackson, Rapistburger, Purdy. The Chiefs aren't winning 3 in a row. Rats turn on Jackson who is a choker Bills will go downhill It's the Bengals year4 points

Some of the 49er players said they did not know both teams have to possess the ball now in OT. How f#cking dumb are these guys? That is a pretty basic rule, I get they may not know the rulebook front to back but come on...soem thought when they gotthe field goal they won LOL. On another note, Joe can definitlely go toe to toe with Kermit and Lou can go toe to toe with Spags but I am not sure Zac is anywhere near Reid and Tobin's group is anywhere near the Chiefs personnel group. They are not invincable by any measure but they will always be formidable with the coaches and personnel people (and Kermit) they have.3 points

With these OT rules, shouldn’t you defer? Then you know what you have to do if they score first.3 points

So true. Sois is hard core, bleeds orange and black. Speaking of bandwagonners... all the kerfluffle and Danish at work all week was about the Gen Z etc's favorite half time show. It was like they did not have a clue a football game was going to be played. Half time entertainment at the first Super Bowl was the University of Arizona and Grambling marching bands. A football game and a great college marching band at half time. Football the way God intended because He lets it be played on Sunday. Just showed who Taylor Swift dragged into the game. Bet they have not seen three football games in the last five years between them. One thing... tonight I am watching "Nature Boy" on Netflix. Mini doc/bio on The Nature Boy, Ric Flair! Woooo OOO! P.S. P.S.S. I did go to Hard Rock Casino this morning and put money on the Chiefs simply because I don't want to see Chadwick have to give up McDonalds.2 points

No. Why would I retire as a Bengals fan when they’re the top of the heap?2 points

At least Mahomes won the bowl, improving the profile of Texas Tech as QB U1 point

Good for him. Found this article about how he got his start in coaching. Never played collegiately, just a football junkie. https://www.recordonline.com/story/sports/college/football/2020/10/30/perseverance-pays-off-goshen-grad-salkin-now-college-football-coach/6090381002/1 point

Well, looks like Joe will still be the only active QB to beat Mahommes in the playoffs.1 point

You can tell that the Chiefs offensive line really misses Thuney. and Usher sucks…1 point

I still can't see Mahomes losing. I am not sure how he wins this, but I assume he does in "heroic" NFL films fashion.1 point

Chiefs come back alot Their oline is in shambles though. Gonna be hard to score on that defense. I want a defense like that. We're getting there .1 point

Kelce got mad, threw his helmet, and bumped Andy Reid. The pressure of pleasing Taylor in the box is getting to him.1 point

It's when their 14 year old BF can't get her train bra unhooked and has to pull down the padded cup to get her miniboob out. And then not know what to do with it.1 point

Can't imagine the hitting going on out there Fred Warner can cover Kelce as good as anyone can.1 point

A big part of that is their whole routine & belief system is based on envisioning themselves as a majority rather than a lunatic fringe. Therefore the election has to be "stolen", because the idea that a majority of voters looked at them and recoiled in horror requires far too much self examination. Once again marginalizing themselves but unfortunately also selecting for the most unhinged and prone to violence in the process. Terrorist groups are never a majority, they derive their power from those acts of violence. That's where we are right now but we're slow to admit it because it's white folks that are otherwise mainstream in their day-to-day lives... right up to the point they shoot up a Walmart or try to assassinate someone & then we ignore the trend, examine where they got their ideas or go after who supported them and instead treat it as some isolated mental health issue.1 point

You’re right about one thing, I am stuck on stupid/you, as I keep replying. You know what, I’m with you now after seeing how efficient browning is. I say hold out for a top 10 pick or no Browning for all these teams that have lined up to acquire him via giving up draft picks. How many teams do you think have offered a good pick? I’ll say at least 12 or so. They’re just doing a great job of keeping it a secret because they don’t want the other nfl execs, who obviously aren’t as smart, to know Brownings true value (so damn efficient).1 point

I have it on good authority that the Bengals will go RT in Round 1. That good authority is all the mocks drafts I have done.1 point

I would like to say it amazes me how anyone could still believe what their party tells them to believe, on either side of the isle, when the data is readily available, but it doesn't. Because yes, it's poor white people that are getting most of the government benefits, but you never hear people complain about them. Just the minorities. And sure Democrats say a lot and do only so much, but I'm still voting for that over a party that denies reality and actively lies to their base in order to use them for political violence to achieve their goals of staying in power. Ask the majority of their base and they still will tell you that the election was stolen. They believe that because Dear Leader continues to lie to them. They believe him in spite of the evidence otherwise, in spite of them saying one thing in public and saying something very different when they brought it to court. That's cult like behavior. And then lets not get into one of Trump's henchmen he surrounded himself with, actively calling for murdering members of Congress. You can say what you want to say about Biden, but he doesn't have people around him calling for the murder of Republicans. There are a lot of things I don't care about when it comes to Biden, but this will not be a difficult choice for me. I'm voting against the wanna be dictator and his thugs.1 point

Oh it was definitely a “gotcha”. What’s the guy going to say: “Play in Nashville…are you kidding me? With this bunch? Seriously? “ All these “hard hitting journalism” questions anymore, are just to spur speculation. “He didn’t deny it…and even if he didn’t admit it..just by the avoidance, one has to wonder” Modern media is absolute shit1 point

As a former resident of CT, I like this move. However, there is nothing new about the approach--only that this is being done with state money (which in itself is a grant.) Here is what is happening. The debt being bought has already been sold off to collection agencies. The grant money will buy the debt at a discount--as is normal practice in the collection industry and a lot of people will not have bloodsucker collection agencies making their life miserable. Everyone benefits, as far is it goes. NGOs have being doing this for years. The problem is that it doesn't go very far. Everyone knows there are serious systematic problems with the health care industry. This country ought to have a form of universal health care. And CT state government isn't ever going to be a forerunner for that, seeing as how a lot of the insurance industry is homed in CT. I'll offer two anecdotes of my own, and I'm sure that a lot of people on this board have their own, similar tales. Since I got sick, one of the medications I take, at eight week intervals, costs 28,800 dollars per dose. I pay eleven dollars, so the company that makes the medicine is sticking it to Medicare. Secondly, I went down to pick up my Mother's Multaq prescription, which after what little is contributed by insurance, costs her over 800 dollars for a 90 day supple. I was curious, so when I got home, I look up prices for Multaq in the U.S. and abroad. $12.81 per pill here, and a little over $2.00 in Canada and other countries.1 point
