Fair enough...Again, I'm not claiming that I know whether this is truthful or if it is anything more than propaganda - then again, at this stage of the game, what isn't?

It comes from Daily Kos. Nothing they do is ever anything more than propaganda.

I saw this story on a blog 2 days ago and didn't think much of it ... However it seems to be growing legs because its now all over the internet. Apparently she pulled her 16 yr. old (at the time) "unmarried" daughter out of school the claiming she had mono or something ... (something embarassed Christian conservatives have done forever!)

Make your popcorn, this could get very interesting.

I worked with a gal who discovered she was pregnant on a Thursday. Had a 6-7 month preemie the following Monday. She took maternity leave. When I saw her about 3 weeks later, I asked her, "So, how's the kid? In what, second grade now?"

True story.

Whether this is true or not doesn't really matter. If the American people miss the major point of this whole episode, then they deserve what they'll get.

And of course, the point is this: What the fuck is wrong with that senile old man and his quality of judgement that he would make this kind of pick?

Come on Homer, we both know the anwser to that question. You and I both said so in the other thread. He is pandering, both to conservitives and to women, and not only that he wants in on the "history" of this election. It's one-ups-manship. I also think it was at least potentially a Carl Rove move to a degree, because to a degree its pretty fucking genious at least from a how these folks run their campaings (even if it is evil). Think about it. A woman VP canidate out on the campaign energizing women, so what would the dems have to do to counter that? Bring out Hillary to do that for Obama, and we know how devisive she is. Hell McSame has been running those "why wasnt she on the ticket" ads for a week now, they want to keep her in the spotlight because they know how much damage her presence could do to Obama. The pick is purely political.
unless she had the baby at home, it would be easy to find a nurse and a shitload of records that would verify this...
H.I.P.A.A. would prevent that unless someone was willing to risk their career (or worse) to spill the beans - if there are any. OR she could bring the information forward, which I imagine she will if push (no pun) comes to shove.

It's mind-bogglingly reckless. Though, I've read from one source and heard from another that he really wanted Lieberman.

It's almost like she wasn't even vetted. Wait till folks get the word that she appears to be affiliated with a Dominionist church/ideology (think Lawman with tits.) Let's see if the ever-powerful "liberal" press comes down as hard as they did on Wright, or if she gets a free ride.

She'd have to be awfully stupid to not know; you see, a certain thing happens to a woman once every lunar month, as regular as Old Faithful, and suddenly ceases once a little bugger implants itself in the uterine lining. There are many theories for why the blood stops, as an inquisitive mind once asked on Yahoo Answers:

Even this genius noticed that she was pregant [sic] because the baby was drinking the blood.

I had a similar experience, with one extra essential detail: the woman I knew who surprisingly revealed herself to be 5 months pregnant was also very blubbery to begin with. The extra contents of her belly were obscured by layers of preexisting fat. I wonder, were Homer's co-worker and CatScratch's sister already big girls? Or, more appropriately, were they as trim and svelte as Palin was, even while 'pregnant?'

Slightly chunky, in a semi-athletic way. No one really noticed she was any bigger, but a few people (including myself) had noticed that she was eating more than she normally did. Not gorging herself, but more than her usual lunch habits. Of course, that made sense in hindsight, but not enough to cause any questions beforehand. Don't know if she was aware of her pregancy, I assume so. But she never spoke about it.

My sis was not a big girl. And her son was born very small. As for Aunt Flo's monthly visits, not all women are quite that regular. In fact, some are very irregular. It's not uncommon for the women in my family to have one period a year.

My wife once went about 7 months without a period. They tried to do an ultra sound and found nothing. Then they did exploratory surgery and found a baseball sized cyst on her ovary.

Periods in most women especially as they get older are anything but regular.

If it is true that her fifth child has downs syndrome I find it completely dispicable that Bill "B Porn" Maher was making fun of the child on his show.

2 things...

1. I have never seen a girl that age with a little extra belly fat.... :o

2. Are democrats really that desperate to get elected in what should be a gimme election to do this kind of stuff? If they are it really shows how weak the party is....

Yea I'm sure the democrats are directly responsible for this. They're as responsible for this as Republicans are for Obama being a Muslim.

I don't know (or care) if it's true. Like Homer said, it doesn't matter either way. But if you showed me that picture before I'd heard about this, and said "Which of these females is 7 months pregnant?" It'd be the teen.

1. The Daughter left school for 5 months with Mono. With Mono you lose weight, her daughter got swollen breasts and gained 30 lbs.

2. Her mother believes in Abstinence only education ... maybe she should have told that to her loose daughter.

3. Sarah Palin has been lying to the media for months on this. She claims her water broke and that she flew 8 hours from Dallas back to Alaska and then drove to Wasilla (where her daughter was) to have the baby. Airlines don't let women who have lost Amiotic fluid on planes and 8 hours is dangerously long for that delay.

4. If she would lie about this elaborate lie - who knows what else.

5. I'd bet anyone 100 $ this will turn out to be true. Just like John Edwards she should come clean now.
…the oldest girl is rumored to have actually been the one who had the last baby, the one with Down’s Syndrome. She was taken out of school the last 4 or 5 months of her mother’s pregnancy.

On March 5th, 2008 Alaska’s Republican Governor, Sarah Palin, announced to the media that she was 7 months pregnant with her 5th child. She is currently 44.

Palin’s daughter Bristol is 16 and attends an Anchorage high school. Students who have attended class with her report that she has been out of school for months, claiming a prolonged case of mono.

Palin does not appear pregnant in any recent photographs. The announcement came as quite a shock to people who had worked closely with her, and have been quoted as saying that she did not appear pregnant whatsoever during the prior 7 months.
A- she wasn't running for the airport because she was in labor. She was running to the airport so that she could get home for the daughter's birth
B- if you don't think that she was vetted for this story, you're crazy. This woman is going to come off not as being decietful, but as being a strong parent that would do anything for their child. She'll be untouchable.

London Times calls the rumors "utterly unfounded". Have they done more research than some yahoo that just started a one-page website? You make the call.
If Mrs Palin, a conservative mother of five, ever doubted that landing on a national presidential ticket would open her to the harshest of spotlights and smear tactics, she also awoke yesterday to utterly unfounded internet rumours that her fifth child, born in April with Down’s Syndrome, was actually her 17-year-old daughter’s.
Don't talk that way about this lady's baby, or she'll go all Dick Cheney on yer ass.
