I just read this entire thread. Its funny how the mood swings on this board. I dont usually question someones fanhood but Bengalsown you're a tool. The only time you chime in is when things start looking bad, when it swings back around again, you go silent. C'mon man! Really??

Bengals surprise Browns in battle of Ohio

Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on September 11, 2011, 5:25 PM EDT

The preseason momentum building for the Browns as a sleeper team took a major hit on Sunday.

Cleveland fell to the Bengals 27-17 at home in a game that reminded everyone that the Browns still have a young quarterback too. And new schemes on both sides of the ball.

After Bengals rookie quarterback Andy Dalton was hurt, Bruce Gradkowski caught the Browns defense napping on a 41-yard pass to A.J. Green late in the fourth quarter.

The Browns trailed 20-17 with plenty of time to tie the game, but Colt McCoy couldn’t get the job done. On fourth down, he wound up throwing to his center. That’s pretty much the opposite of whatever they call “poise” at quarterback.

Cleveland’s schedule sets up well to post a surprising record this year, but not if they can’t win at home when they are favored.

Heck, Cincinnati’s schedule sets up well too. Vive le Bruce Gradkowski.

(Unless the Bengals can somehow convince Carson Palmer to show up now.)

Nice

GAME BALL: OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR JAY GRUDEN

Gruden had tried to call the quick snap play once before, but the Bengals were called for 12 men in the huddle. When the next opportunity presented itself, Gruden and the offense took advantage and Bruce Gradkowski lofted a 41-yard touchdown pass to a wide open A.J. Green to give the Bengals the lead with 4:28 remaining.
Also for the Cam haters. First rookie qb to throw for 400 yards. 24-37 422 yards and 2 td's

The old lady is a Panthers fan and Holy Shit this kid tore it up. I would have bet one of the souls (I've acquired via wagering) that he'd never throw for 400 yards in a game in his career. Fuck me, good for him!
