CSI Miami got canceled?

Damn.

Rob must have gotten canceled a while ago, I haven't seen an episode of that in weeks. The show was ok, but the wife made the show worth watching.

I also liked Unforgettable.

We totally lost interest in BattleStar when they got stuck on the planet for a while.

so where I just ended probably (which I actually really liked).

Must have got you mixed up with someone else, I thought you were a big BSG fan. Maybe just a big Katie Sackhoff fan.

it was actually originally pitched to CBS and they passed, and CW swooped in.

I think the problem with Ringer, and another very good CW show Nikita is that while they are very good shows, they don't fit the typical CW audience so I think they get overlooked by people who don't normally watch CW, and not watched by the younger CW crowd. Thankfully Nikita got renewed.

Anyone watch Once Upon A Time? Very good season finale last night.

I knew about CBS passing on "Ringer"....that surprised me. It finds their general lineup of dramas.

We were when it first started. But after a few episodes on the planet we stopped watching. We probably should have kept with it though.

I watched the River, alcatraz and terra nova and gave up on all three. Great ideas that were not done well. I like the Finder and think that it would fit well with a USA lineup.

I dont watch alot of tv.

The Walking dead and Game of Thrones are both unbeleivably good.

Anyone watch the How I Met Your Mother finale last night?
Missed it last night, but watched it online about an hour ago.
always been a big fan of Victoria. Glad she's back, even though its very unlikely she's the mother. Kind of disappointed that they made Robin the bride, not because I don't want them to end up together, but because it was predictable. Would have liked it to have been Quinn or Nora, and then for him to end up with Robin at the end of the series.

1. victoria isnt the mother. Future ted (bob saget) has said that he meets the mother at Barneys wedding. So it is a new character, at most maybe mentioned in the past. One theory could be that it is Barneys half sister (John Lithgow's character's daughter). In one episode Barney goes over to his real dads family for dinner and they say that he has a son and a daughter. You meet the son, but they say the daughter was away at college. Teds future wife was in his first class (the class he accidently went to) and was also roomates with Rachel Bilsons character in college. Could be her?

As far as robin and barney go. I still have a weird feeling they dont live happily ever after. After how much they talked about Barney wanting kids, I think he will be a dad at some point. And they said Robin will never be a mom.

I guess a lot depends on how many seasons they go. Season 8 will start with Ted/Victoria and Barney/Quinn. Im guessing at some point early in season 8 barney and quinn break up. Ted and Victoria maybe middle of the season. The middle of the season sees barney and robin getting closer and eventually engaged. Season 8 finale is the actual wedding and Ted finally meets the mother at the season finale. Question is, is that the series finale or do they go another season or two?
yea the beginning of part one I know regarding who he's currently with. Just saying she's always been my favorite. What we basically know about the wife is that she was in his class, he meets her at Barney's wedding, and that he briefly dated her roommate.

Read this earlier, some interesting stuff.
as for the barney stuff, I think it depends on how they ultimately choose to go with it. A large section of the fanbase of the show wants barney and robin to end up together. If comes down to whether they choose to honor that or go another route.

yeah i read that after i posted. the part saying they will get married is now leading me to believe they probably will live happily ever after. Unless they do the wedding mid season, which i highly doubt, the wedding will be likely the season finale of season 8. And if they walk out of season 8 married, there is no way they dont end up together. Im just a little surprised that Barney doesnt end up with kids after they talked about how much he wanted one earlier in the season.

Maybe he enjoys being an uncle so much (to Marvin waitforit erickson and teds future kids) that he doesnt need to have his own.

Did they ever say in earlier seasons if he ended up having kids or not?

The only thing particularly surprising is that Rules of Engagement is nowhere to be found. Asked about Rules during the conference call, Nina Tassler said "We're still discussing, haven't made a decision yet".

Does anyone else watch NCIS LA?

Do you think one or both characters are leaving the show?
I tried to in the beginning as I like both leads, but just couldn't keep up. In part I think I just chose to watch something else in that slot. Ringer I believe.

Plus, I struggle to picture the guy who plays Deeks in a non-comedic role. I did watch the crossover episode a few weeks ago with Hawaii Five-O though.

I actually like the show more than the regular NCIS. And not just for Daniella Ruah. Although she is a BIG part. And there is a lot of comedy to Deeks.

yea there was a fair bit of comedy in the one episode I watched, but still, its just weird watching the guy who was once in this in a serious role.

America continued to be passionate about reality competition series this season — as evidenced by the 132 million votes that “American Idol” clocked Tuesday night, naming Phillip Phillips this season’s winner, to the surprise of no one. Half the country’s 10 most-watched programs this season were reality competition shows, including two nights each of “American Idol” and “Dancing With the Stars,” and NBC’s “The Voice.”

But there are signs of wear and tear in America’s love affair with the genre. Both “Idol” and “Dancing” took major hits. ABC’s “Dancing” fumbled about 4 million viewers compared with last season, and Fox’s “Idol” lost about 6 million.

“Idol’s” eight-season streak as the country’s most-watched program came to an end; it came in No. 2, behind NBC’s Sunday football. Fox execs have said that they dropped the ball this season and that “Idol” changes are in store for next season. (Maybe one of those changes might even end the death grip on the franchise held by scruffy, safe white guys with guitars who keep winning — Phil[sup]2 [/sup]being the latest.)

Meanwhile, the season’s 10 most-watched shows include four scripted ones, all from CBS.
One of the comedies — the Thursday show “The Big Bang Theory” — was also the season’s most popular scripted series among 18-to-49-year-old viewers who are the currency of TV ad sales.
In that “money” group, the season’s Top 10 list also includes such scripted shows as CBS’s “Two and a Half Men” and new “2 Broke Girls,” and ABC’s “Modern Family.”
