And the Squeelers are not addressing the bigger issue. Which is that their team can't score points in today's explosive NFL. They are stuck in their old school mentality that you pay top dollar for defense and win games 9-6 ... but this is not the 1990s. You have to be able to put up 35-42 points in games to make the Super Bowl. Your mileage may vary, but I think all of the AFC North teams (including Cleveland) have had great offseasons and are threats to win the division. I've seen a number of rankings that have the AFC North as the toughest division in the NFL in 2023, with the AFC East also drawing some votes. The AFC is strong and deep, period. Philadelphia and San Fran should cruise into the NFCCG this season. In the AFC any one of 7-8 teams could potentially make it to the conference championship game if everything goes just right.
