Slag911
This is a bunch of sh*t. I hope it's not true. Talk about a really crappy thing to do and even worse that the Bengals let it happen. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/bengals-1-healthy-qb-patriots-231814451.html
Slag911
Story looks valid. Crap https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/patriots-sign-will-grier-off-bengals-practice-squad
|High School Harry|
With the 20/20 hindsight we always use with the Bengals, he should have been elevated to the 53 man roster for just this week with Joe ouchy. Not impossible the Pats were playing the long game sabotage of our shaky quarterback situation. At least according to Conspiracy Theory Bengal. Slag911
So who would be our possible alternatives as signed backups or practice squad poaches? I saw Carson Wentz, Cam Newton, Nick Foles, Colt McCoy and Brett Rypien are available backups in another article.

Outmaneuvered by NE.
HavePityPlease
NE is going to play the Cowboys next week, rational thinking says they saw Grier might be elevated soon and got him in so they can pick his brain for that game. He could very well get dropped again soon after/close to, it's not like he can step in and run their offense (not that that will help us any). The Pats have been weirdly cutting and re-signing QBs this season.

Le Tigre
Still banging the drum for Matty Ice...who has an MVP/Super Bowl appearance since the final season Kaep played.
PatternMaster
Nick Foles would be the guy I would go after, he's won a Super Bowl and has proven he can hold a team down for a few months if needed. Foles worked with Press Taylor, Zac's brother in Philly were they won a Super Bowl together...he could be the family's good luck charm.
