Who is Liberman?

Griever is right, Lieberman is a personal receiver coach with a recent history of clients showing dramatic improvement. From The Athletic article by Paul Dehner:

Lieberman got his start living with Mohamed Sanu while the former Bengals receiver saw his career rise in Atlanta and promptly be cut off after a devastating ankle injury in New England. Lieberman honed his system and enjoyed notable success as career numbers were posted by clients Evan Engram, Darius Slayton, Jakobi Meyers and Brandon Aiyuk.

I mean, I have some concern for wear and tear in the players, but I love this...

"The calendar lends itself well to 18+2. The NFL would begin the regular season on Labor Day -- one week earlier than it does now -- and introduce a second bye week to all teams. That would mean the Super Bowl would fall on the third Sunday of February, coinciding with President's Day and making Super Bowl Sunday an unofficial federal holiday."

Even with an 18th game, I wonder if that second bye week would actually make it an easier season for the players. I have heard some players saying that the bye week gives their entire body a chance to heal from normal bumps and bruises. You know, where a player is healthy enough to play a particular week, but not really close to being 100 percent. The bye week helps so much with body recovery. A second bye coming weeks later might provide a similar benefit with the healing process.

I would like it if they eliminated at least part of the preseason where season ticket holders have to pay for useless tickets

and would also be in favor of the final 53 man roster not having to be set until like the third regular season game of the new

extended season.

There is no doubt that there would be only 2 exhibition games where players on the back of the roster try to show they belong.  I don't think the players would agree to change the CBA otherwise, since you know they will have some demands to sign on.

An 18th game would make more money for the players as well as the owners. I doubt the owners will up the NFLPA's % of the defined gross revenues. But adding another bye week doesn't cost the league anything. Increasing the roster sizes doesn't really cost anything either since the cap would be the same regardless of the number of roster spots. The union is in favor of more jobs for its members, so that seems likely. Also probably more players active on gameday and more movement allowed between the active roster and practice squad.

Yeah, that sounds about right to me. More players active on gameday and more active roster/practice squad move are all good things imo.

We've been hearing about Myles Murphy, Iosivas and CBrown working hard to get stronger, faster...all backed up by the coaches and beat writers who have watched them on the practice fields. Had not heard anything about CJones, who needed to improve his strength as much as anyone...until now. Glad to know that he's been lifting...hope he has also been working with a personal receiver coach the way Iosivas/Brown have.
