Go to Indianapolis if you want to see how a fan base gets emasculated when they watch games in a climate controlled sterile shopping mall.  It's not football.

I'm serious. Next season go get a cheap preseason ticket and go. Do it.

I dunno, Saints Fans get pretty fired up in the Dome…, well not this year.

Indy has always been a weak sauce football town.

But then you'd only see preseason football.

Local Fox19 reported /discussed this same thing on 6pm news yesterday.

EDIT:

Here's an article I could find that wasn't behind a paywall.

https://www.sportsbusinessjournal.com/Articles/2024/10/16/bengals-paycor-stadium-dome

Meanwhile, it looks like the Clones are wanting to play indoors now too.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/browns-moving-to-new-domed-stadium-for-2029-season-cleveland-mayor-announces

Quote:  Cleveland's Current Football Team has decided to go ahead with a domed stadium after all. Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb said the Browns have scrapped plans of a $1.2 billion renovation to their existing stadium in favor of a $2.4 billion state-of-the-art facility in Brook Park, a suburb of Cleveland. The stadium is set to be completed in time for the 2029 season, immediately before this version of the "Browns" relocates to San Diego, Oakland, St Louis or some other football-starved city.

It's a shame a couple of games didn't break our way, otherwise this would be getting more attention

The last one is the one that is funniest to me, not because I'm not happy with it, but because a good number of people on this board kept going on about how bad the linebacker play was last year.

It never was.

We had a young and inexperienced 2ndary making everyone look worse than they were.

This year we have a Dline that has been banged up, and still a average at best 2ndary with no true CB1.

The linebackers are fine.

To be fair Chad started playing with John Kitna at the start. And AJ always played with Andy, where Jamar has never not played with Joe, even in college. (Sans Joe getting injured)

Thinking the same thing and you need a new avatar.  Just sayin'
