Rumble In the Jungle
True, but by the end of the game last year, they had Peko playing safety. If we can get the D to play like they did most of this week, and get the 2nd half Denver O, we can compete. The question is can we do that. SouthPaw
Were gonna get rolled.
This. Not being a pessimist. Just being a realist. They are going to come out and spread the cheeks on this defense w/ 4 wides all day long!!! I think this defense is way better than the Patriots, in fact, i know it is, but dont think its going to matter w/ the way the Bills are rolling right now. The only way this game will be won by Cincinnati is if they have an out of body experience on offense. And when i say that, they better be prepared to drop about 50 points. Period. oldschooler
It's a game of strength against strength, weakness against weakness. Bengals Defense is ranked 3rd overall. Bills Offense is ranked 3rd overall. The Bengals Offense is ranked 25th. The Bills Defense is ranked 26th. Did you know the Bengals have played 2 defenses that are ranked in the top 10 at the moment? Did you know the Bills have played 3 Defenses ranked 23rd or worse? The Chiefs have the 23rd ranked Defense, Raiders 28th, Pats dead last. Also, the Broncos Defense is ranked 16th. |Harley|
I actually don't think we'll get crushed. The score will be somewhat close but the Bengals lack the fire power for a 4th quarter comeback. Bills 27 Bengals

kdubdub
Buffalo was very fortunate against the Patriots. They were getting shut down and all the momentum/turn overs changed the game. Most of the picks werent even Bradys fault too. Without those turnovers it would have been a route. I have been very impressed with our D so far and it gas given me new life on a season I thought was just be the "Andrew Luck Get Ready Fest". Buffalo is ok but I am not feeling like they are even going to be more than 8-8/9-7 at the end of the year. We take this game, 21-17.
Jeff Blake
Fitzpatrick is a bad motherfucker. Not perfect, not prototype.......just a gun slinging, never say die, intelligent signal caller. I hope we kick his brains in but good for him and the Bills so far. Catfish Bob
The defense just may be good enough to carry this offense. Great thing is they won their first game and that bought them just a bit of time. Just dreaming here but this could be Marvin's 2000 Baltimore team over. Not saying they'll win it all but just saying they'll be able to compete by playing excellent D with a run 1st offense. Would like to see Gruden not give up so quick on the running game. Run the ball again on 1st and if ya pick up some yards go again on second. If on two carries Benson can get it down to 3rd and 3 or less ,bring in Scott for the jet speed and leave Pressley as lead man. If extra roster spot bring in another Full Back and start pounding it. The Bengals haven't played any high powered offenses yet, but they are ranked 3rd on D. Something's gonna give.
BengalBacker
We could easily be 3 and 0 right now, and Buffalo could easily be 1 and 2. We have two close losses that could have been wins but for one play. They have two close wins that could have been losses but for one play. As bad as we've looked at times, we aren't getting blown out. In both of our losses, we had a chance to win in the last two minutes. I know the difference between winning and losing is being able to make that one play, and we've come up short. I think as these guys progress, they'll start making that play. walzav31
We couldn't win in Denver, we couldn't beat the 49ers. Which I didn't see Ken, Boomer, or CP do. Now Dalton has the chance to beat Buffalo. It could be a letdown game for Buffalo, but I'm not optimistic.
