Instead, they continued the program while attempting a cover-up based upon closing ranks and pretending the coaching staff and front office weren't directly involved. Frankly, if there's reason to be suprised by the punsihment it's because the Saints coaching staff got exactly what they deserved.....something few would have predicted.
