Be nice to pull this one out.

And win the lottery.

And be hit on by Taylor Swift.

And for peace in the Middle East.

stealers come back and win

we fuck this up

Ravens welcome Ray Rice back for 'Legends of the Game' ceremony

Ray Rice is back at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday with several of his former Baltimore Ravens teammates from the 2008 season.

Apparently five years is an appropriate amount of time before welcoming back a player who was released in disgrace.

Rice embraced by current, former players

Rice was photographed on the field with former teammates Jonathan Ogden and Jason Brown, both offensive linemen, as well as Jacoby Jones and Matt Stover.

He also was embraced by current Baltimore running back Alex Collins.

Rice was released by the Ravens in 2014, after the public saw video of him assaulting his then-fiancee in an Atlantic City casino elevator.

This isn’t the first time an NFL organization has welcomed Rice: In early 2016, he was a member of the coaching staff for the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, one of the showcase games for draft-eligible players.

‘Legends of the Game’?

Rice, Ogden and the rest gathered for a reunion of the 2008 Ravens’ team, as part of Baltimore’s “Legend of the Game” promotion at home games.

In 2008, Baltimore advanced to the AFC championship game, losing to the Pittsburgh Stealers. It was the first season for the team with coach John Harbaugh and quarterback Joe Flacco.

Legend has different meanings for everyone, apparently.

Division rival on the road is always tough. We're still in it going into the fourth quarter. This team has a knack for finishing strong against the Ravens. I still think this is ours to be had.

Baltimore is also playing some high risk/high reward defense. So we'll have our chances.

The question is, can our defense hold or even make a play?
