Last year we did a few different mock draft simulators — it’s always fun to see different scenarios in the draft.  I’ve list a few I play around with below:

TDN: https://thedraftnetwork.com/mock-draft-machine

I only did a four rounder as I starting running out of people I’ve even heard of.  This is based off of the thought that we trade or Collins and sign Austin Corbitt from the Rams.  The board on TDN was falling really unfavorably (IMO), but I’d be ok with a draft like this.

Seems like Elam is the choice on pff

Id be allright with him..

Captain Harry Obvious sez... Depends on who they sign in free agency (hard pass on Collins for character issues... one bad apple and all of that) and what O linemen slide.  There has to be one or two there when we pick.  Trading down to high second round if someone wanted to do so would not break my heart, either.

If we could wait until the 7th to get Araiza, that would be great.  I read in a couple of places teams were looking at him in the late 3rd or 4th round.  I admittedly have never seen him punt, but he's got about as much hype around him as a punter can have.  I think the most underrated part of Huber's game is as a holder...the Harris/Huber connection/operation has been solid for a long time, I'll hate when that is changed at some point.

I grabbed him because he was there. I'm right there with you though, I think some one grabs him earlier than the sixth. I wouldn't be surprised at all at a late 3rd or early 4th used for him.

My drafting solely for need version

ss-3

The next Aaron Donald 3 tech (to replace Ogunjobi), a tall CB (replace Apple), best rated T in all of CFB last year (replace Reiff), a tall TE (replace Uzomah), and the best LS in the class (replace Harris next year).

The strength of the draft where the Bengals pick is actually at LB I feel, and they could likely get the 3 best in the entire draft in the first 3 rounds. Then a rangy safety, and huge NT.

Whoever drafts Chad Muma will get a high end productive backer..

Former teammate of Logan Wilson (who mentored Muma).

Only way the Bengals get him is in round 1..

And they wont do that..

A lot of people said the same thing about Logan Wilson when he was coming out.

You just don’t ever know how it’s going to go with guys that come from weak conferences.
