How could the Panthers have looked at this and thought, "Yep that looks like a #1 overall pick at QB" ...

shocking really. They should all be fired.

One of my coworkers is a big Panthers fan. He wanted Stroud as well. He said the owner fell in love with Young.

So basically the Panthers are the 90s Bengals and are going to be bottom-feeding for a while until their owner lets others do their job and doesn't get involved in player personnel like Mike used to.

I've been reading a little bit about David Tepper, the owner of the Panthers ( and the Carolina MLS franchise) and I guess he's a real "hands on owner" and between the 2 teams has fired 4 head coaches in 2 years already and made numerous bad decisions for the Panthers in acquiring talent.

Tepper is another Dan Snyder.

6 HCs in 8 yrs..

To give up all the draft picks for Young

will keep them as bottom feeders for years.

,Frank Reich will prosper elsewhere .

These Kelly Green Eagles uniforms are majestic ... One of the 5 best in the NFL. Should be a permanent switch.

They did wear them..in different variations for most of their history up until the later ‘90’s

My first NFL game as a wee lad was at old Franklin Field with Sonny J under center

I live in Indiana, have for the past 20 years since moving my family back to the Midwest from the DC area for the Navy, but was born and raised in SW Ohio.  Geography aside, I've been a Bengal fan my entire life.  I've had season tickets since Boomer/Ickey, I've been fortunate enough to follow the team for road games all around the country and world, and nearly always catch the Stripes when they play in Indy.

I've ragged on the Colts a lot.  And they deserve piles of ridicule.  Their fans are completely passionless and pedestrian, famous for booing Andrew Luck when his retirement due to repeated injuries was announced.  They play in a sterile, antiseptic dome that's a cross between a shopping mall and a Buffalo Wild Wings.  The experience of seeing a game Indy sucks - it's so NOT football that you'll think you're at a minor league baseball game.

That last is particularly true, as they have "personalities" who constantly bombard you from the field during every clock stoppage.  You've read my rants, before but I'm sharing again...

"Hey Colts fans!  This is Kelly!  I'm in the south end zone with Bob and Mary Six-pack from Muncie, and they're here to play Name That Colt!!!"

"Hey Colts fans!  It's Chuck, and I'm here with six year old Billy Meatgrinder from Terre Haute!  He's here with his family to see the Colts Win!!!"

"Hey Colts fans!  It's Kelly again, and now I'm here with Fred and Wilma Buttfuck from Noblesville - and we're here to play Colts Plinko!!!!"

Their mascot runs around on a golf cart, shooting t-shirts into the stands using an air-powered rifle.  They play awful rap music and challenge the cameramen to find ONE black family in the lower bowl to show whether they're dancing or not.  It's horrific.

It's sterile, climate-controlled.  They play in a massive barn that has all the creature comforts, but is so far removed from "football" and so much geared toward "family" that it feels like you're in your living room, politely offering golf claps when someone on the field does a good thing.

So why is Amish bringing this crap up again?  Because a friend of mine just shared this photo on Twitter, and I saw it my entire rant came rushing back.  Sharing it with y'all is an exorcism of sorts.

Colts Plinko.

(retching sounds)

Seriously.... Indy, their team, their stadium, and their fans.... ugh.
