They have many fiery players who "burn brightly" and lack discipline, which will get you regular season wins, but usually means you can't deliver in the high-pressure situations of the playoffs since there are no calm-headed adults to properly channel that flame.

Fun fact (while looking at Zimmer’s “3rd best all time Viking coach” acclimation):

 

Of the 10 all-time Viking HC’s, only 2 had a below .500 career record with the team. 
 

By comparison, the Bengals have only had 3 HC’s with career above .500 record with the team. (And if you guessed PB was one of them, try again).
