Statement from Mike Brown on Sam Hubbard

I think my favorite thing I ever saw about Sam Hubbard the man was when they had the camera on him and Ossai when Ossai was crying about the AFC Championship screw up and Sam told him "head up"

 

If someone has a video of that....

Classy move by a classy guy.

I hope he is a part of the Bengals family for years to come.

So glad that he retired a Bengal.

Someone told me this was the plan all year and that's why he was playing. It was a friend of the friend situation so certainly not someone I would trust but I posted it in here way back when. 

 

 

 

 

 

Honestly I'm glad this happened. He wasn't going to be on the team this year, and I didn't like the idea of seeing him in another uniform. Not "The Cincinnati Kid"

They hit on 1/2 of the 3rd rounders that year... Malik Jefferson - another "traits" pick who was a terrific athlete but ishtty football player - was the other. Marvin was still the HC then. 

Congrats to #94 on a really nice career. Good guy - played hard, played hurt. Made some huge plays. Did a lot for the community. Was here during the bad times and was part of the renaissance and SB run, which must have been really cool as a player to be part of that. 
 

Sadly, his body broke down and the last few years, it's really showed. But in his career, he did some great things. And it's really cool that he's going out on his own terms.

They should build a statue outside the stadium to commemorate the fumble in the jungle.

I only wish that he could have won a championship at the NFL level to go with his high school and college championships.
