  1. The work and effort that you add this this board is nothing short of incredible

  2. Call me crazy but I would be all for trading Browning for a second round pick. I think McCarron has enough tread on his tires via tools and experience to be an excellent backup. Besides, I think he has a chip on his shoulder (in a good way) to want to prove a point with the Bengals. Three picks in the top two rounds and so many O linement to choose from.Mimis, Latham, Guyton, Fugal... one should be there and throw intriguing Center/Interior Line Jackson Powers-Johnson or DL T Sweat into the mix for a high second. Trade up. But a second for Browning... yes, please.

  3. Drew Sample may have been over drafted, but he has been a solid TE. In Taylor's time here we have missed on Carman and Shelvin. In the draft and Nick Scott, Irv Smith Jr, and Trae Waynes. Otherwise we have hit on most picks based on where we drafted them. This past year's draft is still a wait and see imo, can't really judge after 1 year.

  6. It really doesn't matter to me. I'll have it on in the background, beyond that, meh. I do hope there are a number of questionable calls that affects the game in a negative way and overshadows either teams glory.

  7. Nothing is ever going to shut the Yinzers traps…even if some franchise gets 10 rings. They will just say “we did it first!”. Likely, State Farm or Subway or whatever other corporation is already tethered to Kermit Kelce-Swift for at least another full year regardless of what happens Sunday. And, for probably sound reasoning, they will continue to be a better eyeball draw on the telly as opposed to Brock Purdy. Heck, even St Joseph can’t get close to their draw. For me, it’s still (and in reality) “don’t care”. But this is slightly flavored with my intrinsic dislike for anything Bay Area related. I do love NoCal…but that would be WAY farther up NoCal. Have no thoughts plus or minus as to KC and western MO. But I do really love Las Vegas, so hopefully the area comes out with a big plum of an event. Otherwise, just one last American football game of the season and then

  8. He'd be a good signing for a swing tackle and insurance against rookie failure. He's much better than Carman or Ford.

  9. The better Mahomes plays, the more he can expect to receive in any restructuring of his contract…which limits KC’s ability to surround him with good players.

  10. ^ Baltimore is closer to Marvin Lewis' Bengals than they would like to believe. They have many fiery players who "burn brightly" and lack discipline, which will get you regular season wins, but usually means you can't deliver in the high-pressure situations of the playoffs since there are no calm-headed adults to properly channel that flame.

  12. We just need to avoid the “WTF” picks…i.e. Drew Sample, Jackson Carman. Had we drafted those guys closer to where they were projected (Sample 5th round, Carman 3rd/4th round) instead of in the 2nd, who knows how much better those drafts look. Not to mention the Billy Price draft…we’ve got to stop reaching for players.

  13. JK Dobbins is hella talented, but he’s a big injury risk, there’s no doubt. Love what Mixon brought, and I could see him back… but if they move on from him, I wouldn’t be shocked either. He’s developed as a pass catcher and he’s improved as a pass protector… but he doesn’t break a lot of tackles and he’s never been a really instinctive runner. And for whatever reason, Evans hasn’t caught on. I expect they’ll move on from Tray’veon Williams also, who to his credit did some good things as a Bengal… mostly as a STer. Guys I like as potential replacements would be Zack Moss or Devin Singletary. Neither are feature backs on their respective teams but both have shown they can carry a heavy load and be successful when called upon. Both run hard and are good at getting yards after contact (as is Dobbins). Also like Clyde Edwards-Helaire, more as a pass catcher and 3rd down type, and also like Rico Dowdle as an under the radar guy. He’s a hard runner with some wiggle and he’s an upcoming FA in Dallas that they may look to re-sign.

  15. Easy call for me. SFF This would give them 6 rings, drawing them even with NEP and the bandwagon, helping to shut the yinzer's mouths and setting up another team to pull past them down the road. Plus, I'm getting burned out on Taylor Swift, the resurgence of coverage of the Mahomes Family miscreants, and it'll start to ebb the number of commercials we have to watch with Mr Swift and/or Kermit in it. It's already too much, it needs to end. A KCC victory will only make everything in this paragraph worse and even more insufferable.

  16. Chad is joining Marvin out in Vegas. Let me be the first to say it: "Coach-o Cinco". I think the Raiders have become my 3rd favorite NFL team, behind Cincinnati and whomever the Stealers are playing.

  18. Browning would be third on that list if available to another team. He'd be an upgrade for teams starting guys like Stidham, O'Connell, and Ridder. I'd offer him in trade to the Raiders for Mike Mayer. It could be a win-win given the relative positional values. They get a starting QB, we get a starting TE, with McCarron backing up Burrow. No thanks on Milton. He's been in college for ages without turning into much. No team is going to keep him on their 53 so he'll be available for practice squad duty and no need to waste a pick there. I'd rather not even go down that road.

  19. I'd rather go the rookie route in replacing Mixon. The team can probably re-sign Williams cheaply. He fills the Perine role of QB protector. We could probably find a good RB in round 3 or later. Audric Estime or Braelon Allen would be good additions. Bucky Irving will be a day 3 pick but has skills.

  20. Good for Rob Livingston… always liked him. I remember when he interviewed for the spot before Lou got it. He’s highly regarded. Wonder if they’ll elevate someone like Jordan Kovachs, or Louie Cioffi, who’s a defensive assistant now and who was a secondary coach under Marvin back in the day. Or maybe they’ll just expand Charles Burks’ role.

  21. However Denise York (DeBartolo) by way of Jed York, still hangs around the fringes of the 49ers. That’s enough of the mobster odor to give it a continuing feel of the ‘80’s

  23. I wonder what Burrow will be thinking on Sunday ... "I completed 17 passes in a row and carved up this 49ers defense a few months ago." "Plus I've won 75% of my games against Mahomes and the Chiefs."

  24. I'm not "for" either team, but here are the reasons I'm against the Chiefs more than I'm against the 49ers: Mahomes - I'd rather he not be in the conversation with the all time greats, his helmet is comically large and sits way too far up on his head and is distracting, he has an annoying voice, and he throws fits when things don't go his way. Kelce Kelce's goofy-acting girlfriend Nobody in the 49ers organization had anything to do with XVI or XXIII, so I've let go of that grudge. Purdy seems like a nice fella.

  28. “Cap space” is an illusion. Always has been. There are so many ways to maneuver around it. Every year, the teams jettison players from either existing or expiring contracts. The “cap space” becomes heightened by the losing of said contracts. Where there is a will there definitely is a way.
