Ryan Fitpatrick for our 6th round pick

As best as I could tell, center Jason Brown and quarterback Kyle Boller were friendly teammates while with the Baltimore Ravens.

Yet Brown had no problem ripping Boller this weekend while talking to St. Louis reporters following his signing of a new five-year, $37.5 million contract.

"Kyle Boller with the Ravens, I love him to death, but you see what getting hit one too many times early in your career can do to you," Brown said, courtesy of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "He became gun shy ... and he started to scramble. You have to have faith in your offensive line."

Ouch!

Not to say that Brown's assessment was inaccurate, but it did come off as unnecessary. St. Louis' newest addition should have been looking forward, not looking back.

If anything, Brown could have made his point without mentioning Boller and making an example of a friend and former teammate.
honestly.. if i have to watch a shitty qb.. id enjoy it being palmer II, atleast there is some interest there.. but im cool with a ramsey type guy.. i kinda want wright back.. he seemed like the only one who could manage to not lose a game if needed.
That's why I thought it was stupid not to give Jordan a start or more playing time once we saw all we needed to see out out of Fitzpatrick.

Well with Cassel signed presumably KC will be dumping one of theirs. Maybe Huard?

The guy we almost drafted....with one year in the dark side maybe he could give us some insight

Leftwich is said to be looking for a starting job or at least someplace where they'll promise an open competition for the job. That sounds like Tampa or Detroit. Alternatively, if he just wants to collect a check and not take many hits he could re-sign in Pittsburgh or go to NE.
Give up our 6th round pick for a QB we decided not to resign?

Mmmm sensible. Let me know if you hear any other earth shattering tidbits like trading our first for Andrews or something.

yes, but was it a positive look? IMO Harrell doesn't have the arm strength for the offense we run.
From watching him for 4 years, I feel he has sufficient arm strength. His problem is footwork and taking snaps under center. He also has some confidence issues. If things aren't going well, he is the "yell at the lineman" type. Other than that, he is a great QB who studies hard. His arm strength is fine.

Here is a 30 yrd out, with accuracy and strength:

BONUS: Harrell's fairy sprinting style and the Colt McCoy Face!

Patrick Ramsey (24 career starts, 74.9 career passer rating) is the best choice among the guys that are not looking to compete for a starting job. However he is coming off of an elbow injury, and I don't know when he will be 100% recovered.
I think Grossman would be the best choice. He's young and has one hell of an arm. He also has proven he can win a game if he is asked to.
he won't come here because he wants to al least compete for a starting spot.

Same with Garcia, Warner, Losman, and Harrington. These guys have all been the #1 guy with the last couple of years, and I am sure they all think they can still start. They won't come here to sit on the bench behind Palmer.
