Lou isn't the problem. In NE, they had guys in the right spots and couldn't tackle worth an isht. KC game they played pretty well, especially vs. the pass. Just didn't make the play(s) when it counted... including the offense not punching it in in the red zone enough.

Last night, yeah  - they laid an egg but on both long passes, just bad technique on the first one and Hill bit just for a second on the double move and it was over. Tremendous pass and catch... it happens. Safeties didn't play well either.

Their lack of talent up front got exposed. Outside of Tre, they have nobody, currently. Sam isn't good, Ossai stunk, LBs didn't do enough.. and the depth guys inside weren't good, save for Jenkins who didn't look bad for a one-handed DT playing in his first NFL game.

If there's one common theme under Lou's tenure, it's not having "closers" that make plays when it counts. Too many times, they can't get off the field on 3rd down (or 4th down) and last night, 3rd down was egregiously bad, because almost all of them were less than 5 yards. Just atrocious performance... reminded me of the Houston game last year when they couldn't make a stop, save for the pick 6 by CTB.

The other issue with both Hubbard and Trey is - they are forced to overuse them do to the Murphy injury and Ossai kind of being useless. Both starters would benefit greatly from less snaps .

its a cycle. They don't trust younger players, so they don't develop them and then they are useless when they play. You need to split time regardless of outcome to develop at times....what would help would be winning by a TD or 2

Jordan Battle has played 1 defensive snap this season after doing well last year. And that's despite Vonn being hurt and not at full speed.

Battle didn't forget how to play football, it's Lou's decision.

I have soured on Lou. Anyone who needs DJ Reader level player to be successful doesn't have a good system.

Understand Bell starting the season to get Dbacks in n place and mentoring  them but Jordan Battle had an 82 5 rating last year and it's time to let him start.

Michael, your smart enough to know without a pass rush and a shit run defense his hands are pretty much tied.

I mean how would you change his schemes?

If I were guessing the Bengals 2025 draft round by round right now (assuming only 7 picks), I would predict ...

Rd1 - DT

Rd2 - G

Rd3 - DE

Rd4 - OT

Rd5 - WR

Rd6 - DT

Rd7 - WR

All for this but I really think we're getting another WR in the first round.  I don't like it but that'd be my guess with the way things are heading.

Yeah, I know I used it before but this is still on my desktop and seems

appropriate.  And I do agree with them always being wet for a wide

receiver.  Or is it visa versa?

Agree with Guard in Round Two.  Cappa is Crappa.

Blitz.

The idea that you have to have an elite NT to stop the run is ridiculous. That scheme last week was nonsense. Just go dime and blitz Hilton every play. It wouldn't be perfect but would have been better.

Elite NT?

Maybe not.

We don't have a NT..

That's a problem.

They were scheming to stop the run and it beat them in soft coverage.

ADG isn't very physical. Njongmeta should have gotten more snaps. He's slow but physical.

Slow?..

A 4.91 forty isn't slow..it's snail like.

It's like he's jogging to get anywhere.

He reacts quickly and in the correct spot so his lack of speed is mitigated

ADG has been playing great and would have been the guy. We weren't getting run over.

They used carbon dating to time his 40.
