Jamie_B Posted December 31, 2024 Report Posted December 31, 2024 Just now, Griever said: Yep... 😩 He also mentioned in the very next breath "that's why you have to do everything you can to get those deals done early" The biggest complaint I have. Quote

I watched it at my parents’ house and had to drive back to Columbus right after. I then reached out to my friend’s mom, who had Browns season tickets, to see if I could buy playoff tickets for my boyfriend for Christmas. She wouldn’t sell them to me. 😡 Quote

Live & learn, but also not that bothered if Ja'Marr and Tee run those pockets either. The money will be there and the NFL requires them spend the majority of it on players. A competent FO would probably do the hard thing, wish Higgins well & spend half of that on defense.,. or sign them earlier, as you said, or move Higgins while they could if paying him was not the plan. If Burton was that plan it's, well, incompetent. Should've, could've - draft better. At this point they may as well pay the guys. Good for them, they seem nice. Quote

I would say far higher than any playoff game with Bo Nix. Hope the NFL Powers That Be come thru and the Chefs don't roll to avoid Joe... a real possibility. 1 Quote

They are 15-1 on the season coming after 2 Super Bowl victories are working. Andy Reid is only concerned with his own team, not any possible opponent. I would guess KC defensive coordinator Stave Spaguolo would like to avoid Burrow if possible, but I'm guessing Reid would be more than happy to call plays against the Bengals 29th ranked defense. Cincinnati has put themselves in this hole, and they shouldn't expect the Chiefs or any other team to to bail them out of the jam they're in. All they can do is try to win in Pittsburgh Saturday night, and then hope for a couple of minor miracles on Sunday. 1 2 Quote
sparky151 Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 In Carson (Wentz) we trust, I guess. Not feeling good about that. 1 Quote

KA14_HOF Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 Just a kick-in-the-teeth reminder that to start the season, we lost (at home, no less) to the team that has currently earned the #1 overall draft pick. I don't care if Ja'Marr & Tee both pulled hamstrings watching the opening kickoff, there is no way we should have lost that game. We've earned the virtually hopeless situation we're in. 2 Quote

I saw a piece somewhere that said Reid wants to win the Denver game and won't be tanking it other than resting his dinged up players. Only 6 of them can be inactive so KC can play the reserves more than usual but a bunch of their starters will be playing on Sunday. The piece said that Reid isn't worried about the Bengals and would like to face the Bengals defense again. 1 Quote
