fwiw, I may be mistaken, but I haven't read anywhere that he was drunk. Definitely poor judgement to hit the guy, but we don't know that it was alcohol related.

That's like going to the casino and not gambeling if you are a gambler. Going to a whore house and only to look lol. I don't buy that it wasn't alcohol related.

He very well probably was drunk, just saying that no one has reported he was.

Even if he wasn't boozing, he's a high profile athlete making more money than most everyone in the bar more than likely. If he thought he was going to get away with hitting a dude in the face, he just isn't very bright. I would say he was probably boozing.

I understand what you are saying this is just a bunch of opinions on a chat forum.Either way dude needs to get his head out of his ass. I am not judging him cause I had my share of bar fights and stupid stuff but everyone has to grow up at some point. When you are a profissional athlete you kind of have to grow up a little quicket than most. What's surprising to me is Peko is on the team and is samoen and is a relegious person. You'd think he would have knocked some sense into him by now.

Here is the sad but true about all this. What you posted has very little importance to most Bengal's fans unless: A. it draws a suspension from the league that keeps Rey from playing in any games or Rey gets put in jail for a period of time that would affect his playing time.

Even if he gets the maximum sentence, most fans could careless. Personally I like to see my favorite team win football games, but I don't like to see a bunch of idiots going around doing dumb stuff when they have all the resources to live a life much better than my own.

And?

He said that Rey was drunk and couldn't even stand straight. Everyone in the club left expect Rey and his friends (non Bengals players) so at 2:30 AM he went to ask them to leave cause it was a legal issue at this point that they couldn't drink anymore and they had to go. They never made a fus or were asked to leave for any other reason but the place is closing. He said he asked them to leave cause it is past time and then Rey stood up, took 3 or 4 steps towards him, punched him in the face lol and then sat back down and said I don't care. :lmao:Next thing the guy knows the staff had to get the cops.

Not at all.. I just thought your gloating was a tad foolish since all I was saying was to "wait and see what happens".

Not only that but being cited and being charged is 2 different things.

This guy can pretty easily be replaced via the draft or FA. He's just not that good
and apparently doesnt care to get the necessary help. At this point he's a liability
on and off the field. See ya!!

I didn't catch the interview but caught some of the reaction. Mo, his producer, and his intern all sounded skeptical of the guys story, with Mo saying "there seems to be more to the story we haven't heard."

The guy I guess has a small mark on his face (there's a pic in here somewhere), and claims it wasn't that big because Rey was drunk and stumbling and didn't get a good shot on him.

I'm curious to hear Rey's side of it.

I'm a cop in Ohio. There's no difference in being cited and being charged. Just different words for the same thing. Cited is usually used when referring to traffic tickets but you are still being charged with a violation.
