B.A.B.
What do we know about these busters right now? I haven't been paying attention to them. All I know is that Marshall recently said that he'll be playing week 1. I feel like its a decent test for the squad coming out of the gate but nothing too crazy. Cutler still seems quite inconsistent, and they're still having oline issues.

Newprodigy101
My brother is a big bears fan. He is optimistic about them this year. There defense is top 5 caliber, even without BU. With forte and marshal they have serious threats. The main thing for them is their offensive line was terrible last year but they spent 2 high draft picks on 2 offensive tackles. The key for us is for our defensive line to show how good they really are and put a pounding on Cutler while still trying to contain Forte... Our offense may have some trouble picking apart their defense but with our additions from the draft we should be able to score enough to win the game. B.A.B.
Cutler is definitely hit or miss. I don't think Alshon has proved anything yet either. Any threats at TE? I know about Forte. He's like the guy in Houston I feel.
BigDawgBengal
Cutler loves to throw to Marshall. He targeted him 192 times last season. If they can pressure Cutler early in the game and double Marshall, they should be able to contain their offense.

alleycat
Actually, I think their Offense is going to be the real danger this year, from what I saw of them in preseason. Not going to be an easy game at all...

Not going to be an easy game at all... I only watched part of the chargers game, and wasn't impressed with their offense. Yea the starters put up 14 points early in that game, but it had more to do with the chargers sucking than the bears looking good.
alleycat
I watched their Raiders game in week 3. Granted, you have to take that with an even BIGGER grain of salt, but I was still pretty impressed. Particularly with the play of Ashlon Jeffries and (of course) Forte. Bengals1181
the Bears offense is basically the Cowboys lite. Romo > Cutler Bryant > Marshall (pretty close though) Austin > Jeffries (Jeffries has a higher ceiling though) Murray = Forte (different styles, but about equal threats) Both olines are shaky, but the Bears is worse. As long as the pass rush does its job and the offense doesn't put the D in bad situations with turnovers (the Bears D gets a lot of turnovers), the Bengals should be fine. T-Dub
Cutler still seems quite inconsistent, IDK, I think Cutler plays at a consistently high level considering that he is, in fact, a cat. Also +1 to OP for calling them "busters"
scharm
I think bengals beat them again but with the skill guys they have it could be a long day on defense. I'm thinking 31-28 Bengals.
Hint of Snow
Take the 3.5 before the line goes down. Bears will start strong but get worse. This game. This season. Like last year only better. I have a front row seat. see everyone at Kendall's (well after the first one at Soldier) :rsju31uh9:

|Numbers|
74 to 2! I mean, after all, our civic pride is on the line. Because, let's face it, if Chicago were to somehow beat the Bengals, we'd never hear the end of it...

|High School Harry|
Steam roll these fools Not being snarky or cynical but that is one of my issues with Marvin. The team always plays up or down to the level of their opponents; they seem to mirror them or its like they take them for granted and end up making tight games of fools they should have put away before half time... games vs Cleveland are usually a lot closer than they should be. So, yeah and agreed it would be nice to kick them to the curb and keep the cleats on their throat until the final whistle but... Marvin coached teams seem to rarely do that. and I know little about the Bears.
