I bet this is all about Johnny vs Marcus.
scharm Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 Browns have targeted Columbus. There was talk/negotiations of future training camp's taking place there. Despite the losing they probably have a bigger fanbase over the Bengals.
Le Tigre Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 3/4 of the attendees of Ohio State come from NE Ohio. When they graduate/flunk out/quit, they stay in the area. IDGAF...I go to the home games. For the CBUS Bengals Brown-out victims: try the Crazee Mule on Cleveland Avenue. It is the home to Columbus Bengals Nation, and virtually all of the many Telly screens are devoted to our team. Food good, drink cheap. You are welcome.

Hint of Snow Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 IDK. Browns games could be high comedy for the remainder of the season.I do miss the home game/Oktoberfest Sunday. Awesome Fall Sunday
Le Tigre Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 T-Mac doing Bengals games. As Harley and Cincybengalz will attest, he is most loved and admired in the Delaware Valley for his detailed and inspiring play-by-play of Phillies games.[ofcourseninja]

membengal Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 As crappy as that is - at least with Sunday Ticket you have options now to see the games even when WBNS does something awful. When I was growing up just east of Columbus in the 80s when they chose Browns over Bengals it meant I had no other options to watch the game.
Hint of Snow Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 Get your popcorn readyhttps://twitter.com/Browns
sparky151 Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 What sucks is that Bengals-Chargers is clearly a better game so it's being shown in Seattle, Kansas City, Denver, etc. But not here in Cbus.
ColdWarrior Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 Thats not true at all. I can't vouch for the 3/4 stat, but there is no 40,000-student college in Cleveland like UC here. That market definitely has stronger ties to the Buckeyes than Cincinnati does. The Buckeyes are their college team and conversely many in Columbus support the Browns, as embarrassing and difficult as that might be!

Less than 70% of the students are from Ohio so you are not even close.
|Numbers| Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 There's at least one reply that is accurate...
ccartman2 Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 Pretty much use to this and I wish I had CBS from Dayton instead. They will keep the Browns on until they are out of the race. Weeks 2, 3, 4, 6 & 17 are the only weeks it is possible that the Browns bump the Bengals on TV and Week 4 won't be a problem if CBS has the double header.
Le Tigre Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 Thats not true at all. what isn't true: paragraphs 1,2, or 3? And what are your qualifications to refute any of them?
