He has checked every box that people at his position have previously checked to make the HOF. I don't think most people realized just how good he was in his time in stripes. He was an AllPro player not a replacement at a joke of an all star game.. To me he was the 2nd greatest player to wear the stripes. (Munoz).. He was loved and respected here.. Still is..
