Happy for Marvin and a good move by LV. He’s been through a lot and he can provide a lot of input to an inexperienced HC. A HC in waiting (or DC) if things go south.

Said another way, a solid gamble by LV. And  a good bet.

I'm glad for Marvin too. In a league where lots of chisel-jawed spikey-hair millennials are getting HC jobs from owners looking for the next McVay wonderkid ... Marvin has lots of wisdom on what it takes to return a franchise back to respectability - which is what the Raiders need.

I hope Lewis can help there but not

overly hyped this or that.

His credentials as a good d-cord was

based around Ray Lewis (enough said)

To see how he's going to change back to the "Raider Way ' won't happen but he can improve the D..

Hiring, Hue Jackson to improve the offense wad a grade A move.

Hue can motivate and inspirer players by being upfront and honest with them.

Trust...

I believe the Raiders ( with a great  draft,) will be a team .Nobody wants to face..

Not entirely, he also spent a year in DC as their DCood and had that D top 5. So it wasn't a result of him coaching Ray Lewis, he's a good DCord

The New England Patriots announced Thursday that they hired Alex Van Peltas the offensive coordinator on head coach Jerod Mayo's staff.

Van Pelt joins the Patriots from the Cleveland Browns, with whom he spent the past four seasons as offensive coordinator under head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Melt down by Ravens fans on losing Macdonald and still having Harbaugh 😂  (click on top tweet to read their comments)

If you listen to those Raven fans about McDonald, then what a fool believes might ring true. To be honest, I keep forgettin' what an impact he had, and he must be thinking it's sweet freedom to get that HC gig. He won't need to worry about offensive talent, the Hawks have enough skill there for him to be reelin' in the years of experience and get that long train runnin' behind Walker and Charbonnet while he uses his defensive skills to focus on that side of the game. Only a fool would say that, but any major dude would tell you McDonald will be like Kid Charlemagne there on the Seattle sideline.

L.L.Bean!!

Oh, regarding Sherman.  I hope Rikki don't lose that number 25 jersey.

I heard that his sister, Lucy, will be assigned as a Special Teams assistant coach, working specifically with the place kick holder specialists.

She did wonders for Brad St Louis late in his career here.

And he's not even the one in charge of the offense. Kingsbury was hired for that.

And he's gone. Kingsbury couldn't work out a contract with the Raiders so it looks like he'll be in Washington with the Commanders.
