MichaelWeston
Went through the RB group and this is who I liked. RB Jaylen Wright-Tennessee (3) Trey Benson-FSU (3) Marshawn Lloyd-USC (3) Will Shipley-Clemson (4) Emani Bailey-TCU (5) George Holani-Boise St (5) Isaac Guerendo-Louisville (5) Cody Schrader-Missourri (7) Micheal Wiley-Arizona (7) Jaden Shirden-Monmouth (7) Kimani Vidal-Troy (7) Keilan Robinson-Texas (U) This class is messy. No real standouts. I really liked Emani Bailey and George Holani.

Interesting player in later rounds though .

sparky151
Dehner's prediction is Moss as the starter plus Brown, CEH, and Guerrendo in the 5th round.

I expect Williams back, another draft pick and Mixon back....I am all for Moss. I think CEH just seems like a fit but kinda sucks. They love Williams but don't play him
sparky151
I don't know why people around here seem to want CEH. Sure he was on Burrow's championship team but as an NFL player he sucks. I'd rather add Gus Edwards than Moss but either would be an upgrade from Mixon. Brown needs more touches anyway. Guerendo is very athletic, but not very good. There are other backs I'd prefer in the draft, even in the 5th or later.
|BlackJesus|
I'm the driver of the CEH bandwagon and think he goes to the Pro Bowl in this offense. Just get him and Burrow back together and watch the magic happen.

Yeah, that 3.5 ypc running behind the Bengals line will impress and awe all who watch it.

sparky151
The whole idea is ridiculous. KC used a first round pick on him and gave him the starting job. He promptly coughed it up. They tried again and he lost it to another team mate. He has a better line in KC than he'd have in Cincinnati, yet people expect him to suddenly play better? I guess Mahomes was holding him back, right?

This is exactly why they should be focusing on fixing the O-line before they go get a new RB.

Obviously true about the O line but lsing Mixon is addition by subtraction. Forget last year's stats. They should come with an * because the last game was a joke. Seemed like they didn't even ask him to block because he was so piss poor. If the surveillance footage from the confrontation with a 50 year old lady on Walnut Street from last year was clearer we would not be having this discussion. He's a liability.

Good candidate for redeeming and all it would take would be for Joe to walk into Pumpkin's office, maybe with Ja'Marr, and say "Let's glide with Clyde". You know he would love to be here. I would be more concerned about Mixon getting arrested than Clyde getting injured. Let's Glide with Clyde.

Fix the OL and it won’t matter who the RB is.
JC
Fixing the line will help but they love to run duo and inside zone. It’s all fixated on the line getting double teams on interior linemen and springing the running back into the gap to take on linebackers. When you have a running back who can’t break tackles or isn’t explosive you can’t beat those linebackers. Get a dude who can make a man miss and the run game will look a lot better. That guy isn’t Joe. Joe shouldn’t be taking carries outside of the redzone at this point. 1

NM the road rage incident, his felon BIL shot a kid with Mixon's AK for having a Nerf fight on his suburban lawn. Apparently he was able to buy his way out of trouble there but holy shit.. And then the team's reaction of "he smiles a lot" was just so incredibly tone-deaf and disconnected, I don't know if I'll ever understand it. So OK, let's say for the sake of argument he's actually an All-Pro RB and an absolute tank at blocking but they just don't want him to do it & everything is the OL's fault. He gave his felon BIL an AK with which to shoot a kid for having a Nerf fight on his suburban lawn. This guy is a team captain? I don't know what that says about their locker room but it's not anything good.
