Or maybe he's not even a good OC. When he had Mahomes, Reid was calling the plays. Bienemy didn't do much in Washington or at UCLA.

A puppet under Andy.

Worthless as anything else to ignite a team.

He's best staying at his present position.

Belichick interviewed with the University of North Carolina this week.  😮

Something tells me he's got zero prospects in the NFL.  Probably burnt a lot of bridges.

He too damn old to have the energy to HC anymore.

Stay in the booth upstairs Billyboy

If he's still able to coach at a high level, why not?

Belicheck wouldn't have to worry about the offense with Burrow and Chase. The last team he had with an elite QB won the Superbowl.

I think the DC is fired and he picks his guys, some may stay on the D side but not most

And new OL coach/running game coordinator.

On offense....if the Jaguars staff is fired or just Press, he could join the staff.

I am assuming Klint Kubiak is out in New Orleans....he could stay..he could join the staff as well.

We haven't talked about Darrin Simmons....who I love....he is holding on to that Assistant Head Coach role that keeps us from adding someone else.....He is only 51 which seems crazy...he is definitely a stud coach but he has been here for 21 years.

Agree with your comment and logic.

I do NOT want Zac fired and see this year as an outlier rather than the norm.

Free agents Rankins, Stone and Trent Brown (remember him?) were whiffs.

Joe wants Gesicki back and that should happen.

Loose Tanner Hudson, let's see more of weekly inactive McLaughlin.

Eric All  probably finished.  too bad

Mild Murphy has not developed and the Cam Taylor-Swift experiment is a failure.

Something new for him next year.  Safety?

Mims was an excellent pick, the others still developing and really like Josh Newton.

Next year we get back Mac (who I still trust) Dax Hill, Battle and Logan Wilson.

Draft wisely and not just for quantity like usual.

A good DL free agent would be nice, too.

Joe and Ja'Marr will still be here.

So I would stick with Zac.

That said... being wrong more often then right... Zac will be fired Tuesday and Bienemy (who I do NOT like) will be hired Wednesday.

P.S. Vonn Bell for D backs/Safeties Coach.

I'd maybe give Zac one more year but would like Ben Johnson hired from the lions

What do we know about Ben Johnson as a HC?

Has he ever been entirely in control anywhere?

I know nothing about the guy aside his OC duties.

Is he better calling plays than Zach?

Just thoughts I have ..

Hope you're right.

But history of injuries and can't stay healthy is not a good sign.

Wasn't his injury to same spot in college

He could come back healthy but gotta think his head injuries

have the team thinking about it

Doesn't he have a whole lot more money now to get it fixed?

It's an ACL. Those high dollar guys can make it better than OEM parts. Literally. They can now create and graft customized artificial tendons. Since 2008, BPTB restoration has become mainstream for elite athletes with a roughly 83% success rate. And of course, that goes up with a better surgeon.

My guess is that All previously got a HS graft. This is a soft tissue graft and is far more likely to tear again. This is not the case with Bone-Patellar-Tendon-Bone technique. It uses bone-to-bone healing for a much stronger graft. BPTAB also has a faster healing rate, and players can get back to activity sooner. About 6 weeks to mobility and 9-12 months for rehab.

Torn ACL's are much less scary that they used to be.

Plenty of basis for not counting on him to return though.  The team needs a reliable true TE that can both block and catch. All looked great but with a 2nd ACL injury it would be foolish not to keep looking. With his skillset there's obviously a good reason he was still available in the 4th round.

Nothing against him as a coach but I hate that they did that. Ketchup Whisperer held the same AHC post under Marvin and we know how that worked out.

Giving that job as some sort of tenured position out of loyalty strikes me as a chickenshit move. Make them the head coach instead if you don't have enough faith in the person you just hired & can't help hedging your bet.  It's the sort of half measure that frankly reeks of Mike Brown's "nice guy" indecisiveness. Making some old guard lapdog the 2nd in command undermines the head coach's authority before they even start.

Watch out AFC North, we got ping pong tables...lol

This would get Taylor killed in a major media market. Fix the running game, nah...work on late game decisions on how to win games...nope

Ping Pong!!!

I guess after this next loss, they will need something to keep the guys from mailing it in.

They are 4-1 since bringing in the ping pong tables

Why stop at the locker room?  Clearly they need to have several of these on the sideline so guys can get in a quick volley or two between series on the field.
