BengalBacker
I filled up for $1.77 a gallon last night. I never thought I would see those prices again.
BengalsOwn
I never thought I would see them either. The analysts were so wrong, it isn't even funny. Around Franklin, on 73, prices were around 1.77 last night.
oldschooler
$2.19 up here in Wussconsin. Still high compared to you all, but still great that it isn`t $4+ a gallon. Hell, I have to drive 25 miles just to see a red light here. Not that I drive 25 miles just to see a red light though . . .
Actium
I saw it for $1.85 a gallon in Houston, and that's not even at the cheap-o gas station in the ghetto I always go to because it's 10 cents cheaper.

I am at the age where I don't care much about cars anymore. I still like fast cars and all, but economy and relability mean more to me now that I have a family. Plus, it's got 15" aluminum wheels! And side airbags, so when I die from a t-bone impact, I'll have a pillow to rest my head on! The worst thing about the car is it's highway MPG (at real hwy speeds). It's a 5-speed manual and the way Toyota geared this thing, it's pulling 4,000rpms in 5th gear at 80mph. My other manly vehicle, a Grand Caravan, pulls exactly 2,000rpms at the same speed. So I try to drive the Scion around town as much as possible, in 4th and 5th gear. I don't want to wear the squirrels out too soon.
