Just re-watched the Tyler Boyd 3d and 9 in OT catch. Watch how Tee turns with him and sprints down the field as a blocking escort. That's how teams that want to win play.

Absolutely believe Tyler is the kingpin of

blockers that sets the example to get a block in .

All the receivers do this

I also loved how Mike Hilton ran along the sidelines with him…😎

I just want to add that as much as I love Hilton running along the sidelines with Boyd, he was beyond the zone that players are restricted to, and was actually in the way of an official.

If he does that again this weekend in Pissturd, you can bet he’ll get flagged for it.

i LOVE the enthusiasm, but you gotta be smart about it.  🦗

Too late for for tomorrow's game against Shittsburgh, but may be interesting to have him for Kansas City.  We could use our version of Chris Jones.

Not trying to overlook anyone though.  Focus on the current game; we got burned overlooking the Texans, overwise we would be in a win and in, based on all the other teams we are fighting for a playoff spot.

Russell Wilson got benched

It’s all financial:

Saving money is a good business theory. Quitting on the season—with still a glimmer of chance to make the playoffs—is sending a message to the rest of the employees: the green is more important than you are.

I can see their reasoning due to injury this late.

I just don't see a team willing or interested in acquiring a 35 yr old on the downside for the money owed him

Speaking of rape and pillage:

Denver invested heavy assets and dollars in acquiring Wilson last offseason in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks. The Broncos sent quarterback Drew Lock, tight end Noah Fant, defensive lineman Shelby Harris and five draft picks — two firsts, two seconds and a fifth — to the Seahawks. Seattle sent a fourth-round pick back to Denver along with Wilson.

Good Lord..

Those picks will be great additions for the Seahawks .

How does a GM make that trade unless pressured by the owner?

Or maybe the team, to include the players, are tired of a moody, phony, overpaid, very average Prima Donna QB leading the team and are moving on.

They have an 8% chance of making the playoffs and quite frankly, Jarrett Stidham is just as capable an average QB as Wilson.

He hasn’t surpassed 260 yards once in his last 12 games and plays for Sean Peyton.

Broncos will have about a $89M cap hit over two years…yikes, bend over the Pony.

Yeah, they pretty much have to find a suitor to take over part of that disastrous deal.  It does save them REAL money going forward.

So what do you figure?  Atlanta, Minnesota, New England, Raiders, Giants??, Washington and Chicago (bridge QB).

I suppose. With Peyton, maybe call the whole mix of the Mules an experiment which produced some real chances for the postseason during the season.

The visual is, however, the ownership quitting on the remainder of the season which--even if only 8%--is still not over.

CLEVELAND (WJW) — The Cleveland Browns’ stellar kicker Dustin Hopkins is out for the week after sustaining a hamstring injury during Sunday’s winning game against the Houston Texans, the team announced Tuesday.

At this time, the injury is considered week-to-week (let's go for two). It’s just more bad news in a string of major injuries for the Browns😢, who, despite it all are 10-5 on the season and looking to solidify a playoff spot this Thursday.

No team will take on his current contarcat and no team will sign a new one with him (becuase he wont rip his up, at least not for 2024) - so every team will wait for his release then for 2024 they can sign him for the leaugue minimum and the Broncos pay him for 2024.

Yep. Broncos won't find a trade partner between day 1 of the league year (when the trading window opens) and day 5 when Wilson's injury guarantee turns into a full guarantee. So they'll have to release him, probably with the post-June 1 designation to spread the dead money hit over 2 seasons. Wilson has an offset clause in his contract so whatever a new team pays him reduces the Bronco's obligation to him. So he doesn't stand to make any more money by haggling with a new team and may sign for vet minimum plus some incentives if he likes the situation.

The question is whether any team wants him as their starter in 2024. My guess is no, he'll have interest as a veteran backup QB. That's assuming Cousins and Mayfield stay with their current teams. I had Wilson on my fantasy roster this year and he actually wasn't too bad. His passing numbers are comparable to Lamar Jackson's.
