Simpson and Collins part of a drug investigation (Collins looks to maybe be in the clear)

I know for a fact that Rucker is not involved. I highly doubt JJ got involved considering he had already been busted for carrying a really small amount once. I doubt Henry was involved because he was busted for so much and never that and you know they had a very close eye on him in NKY. Couldnt see Tank getting involved either after the serious charges he got when in Chicago...it wouldnt be worth the risk for such a lesser thing.

Henry was busted on Dec 15th, 2005 for pot possession in Covington. It was the first of his 5 arrests in 28 months.

On April 30th 2007, Rucker pled no contest to one count of vandalism and one count of false imprisonment, with the rest of the charges dropped after he had been arrested for battery assault of his girlfriend. I am not sure why a guy like this couldn't smoke a little dope although Rucker would be lower on my list.

You don't think Tank is stupid enough to smoke dope because of all the other stupid things he did? Really?

JJ wouldn't smoke dope again because he had been busted before? Really?

I am not saying anything this guy wrote is remotely correct but your defense is laughable.

Or else he knew he hadn't done anything wrong and felt he had nothing to hide.

Well, that wasn't the case was it? He did have something to hide. Sorry but I just don't feel like playing the "I didn't know I had 6 lbs of dope, scales, pipes and baggies in my house" game.

JC trust me when I say this guy has no info and is saying all this stuff to get hits to his website. I cant really say anything other than that.

Word.

I have taken a lot of it with a grain of salt lately anyways. I just guess I didn't know why the guy would go through all the trouble when there were like 5 guys who actually posted at the site.

You never know . Depends on the layout of a house and how big. Does it say where it was all actually found within the house?

He was on a different site I post at for like a day, I dropped some knowledge that I knew he was full of it and he disappeared, I think it's ego issues.

A short recap of the various rumors I've heard regarding this Simpson case:

#1 : Numerous other Bengals players were involved
#2 : Jerome was excused from practice because he was on suicide watch
#3 : Jerome wasn't arrested because he agreed to be a cooperating witness and rolled on everybody

I don't know what to believe at this point since Simpson's camp has been on lockdown. Until and unless he gets arrested, it's a waiting game in my opinion.

Anybody catch the reference this morning by Schefter (along with Mort), that Jerome's doctor's told the bengals it was in his best interest to let him play. Something about not letting him feel like the team was turning against him. Woah. So maybe 'Rome has some real emotional problems to boot.

Sorry, not falling for the "you never know" bullshit either. What are the chances this guy had no idea his house was a medical marijuana warehouse? Innocent until proven guility does not mean you throw common sense and pure statistics out the window. Seriously the odds that Simpson didn't know about the pot in his house in Vegas would probably be around 30 to 1. I said before I think the pot laws in this country are stupid and feel bad for Jerome but if your own life depended on picking a side of the debate ONLY a fool would choose "Jerome had no idea".

Didn't hear that. That's seriously concerning. If so, I wouldn't expect Jerome to play much at all.

This a bit of a sticky (pun intended) situation for the Bengals. Yes, Jerome is at fault here....to what degree? We don't exactly know yet. Depending on how the investigation is progressing there may be no immediate arrests forthcoming. Until there is movement the Bengals must feel like they won't alter personnel until something comes out that compels them to take action.

Besides the fact that the girl who signed for the package spent time in California and South Carolina, the only Bengal player to have spent time in Eureka is Rey.

Flo still taking shots at Jerome. Hey Flo. Try on some reporter shoes and make some calls to Cincy. You’ll find out the house belonged to Simpson granted, and he is responsible for what goes on in his house. But his Brother (whose the main resident of the house) is the suspect.

It’s likely Simpson will be in some trouble because you can’t have stuff like that go on in the home you own, but ask yourself. When is the last time someone has been found with 8.5 pounds of weed and not been arrested? That should hint to you that there is something more to the story.

Anyway, If Cali investors find out it’s the Bengals and Mike Brown coming to town, look for them to head for the hills and the whole stadium project to crumble.

Thanks for posting that, that's the comment I was referring to.

I hadn't heard it, so was curious if anyone else has (probably has been discussed on the "official" forum, but I'm not going there)
