unleashed
Per Rotoworld: Sources close to Josh Gordon tell the Cleveland Plain Dealer they're "concerned" Gordon "will have a tough time making it back into the NFL" if his one-year suspension stands. The appeal of Gordon's ban will be held in late July. Per the Plain Dealer, the people are worried about Gordon losing his "support system," as he'll be away from the Browns' organization and ineligible to participate in football activities. The sources reportedly point to Jaguars WR Justin Blackmon, who was suspended indefinitely last November and is not expected to be reinstated in 2014. Gordon's Dynasty league owners should have similar worries.

I don't know that losing it will make that much difference.

I shall sneak away now and knock on wood until my hand is bleeding and broken. The small percentage of trouble makers grab majority of the headlines because that's what interest people the most. NFL teams do not prevent these type of players from gaining employment in their league. The NFL is competitive and NFL teams can not afford to individually cross off ALL the questionable characters and hope to remain competitive with the teams that don't. Thus teams will always take turns on various levels with negative press relating to knuckleheads.

|SF2|
Gordon to appeal 1 year ban for substance abuse. So, with the NFL in Johnny Football marketing mode, who wants to bet it gets reduced to 8 games, right about the time Johnny would probably be inserted as the starter if things go in typical Browns fashion? http://espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp14/story/_/id/11257114/josh-gordon-cleveland-browns-appeal-one-year-suspension-aug-
