I think the Castellini family may have had some influence here.

I posited if it might a couple weeks ago.

With no live spirts happening, this free agency has been great!

If either is going, it’s Dre.

Williams can step into the box and play backer, especially on passing downs.

Plus, he can actually kinda tackle people.

Signing Vonn Bell is something I definitely didn't see coming, if anyone was doubting that it's a new dey, sorry couldn't resist, then yeah...

Just our luck that as the Bengals finally start operating like a franchise that wants to win the world is literally coming to an end...lol.

I think Dre is gone sooner than later, no way you can keep his salary on the books. As for Williams I think he sticks around until TC, most teams have 3 safeties that play in certain situations and packages plus his salary isn't that high that cutting him woul save the team a bunch of cash.

Someone has finally convinced the Inbreds that, sometimes, for the same dollars you can actually get free agents that are better than just re-signing your own. Especially if your own are picks that have not really worked out well.

If they fill enough holes through free agency, after Burrow, they may decide to package 33 with another pick to jump back into the first round to get one of the top linebackers.

Here’s a look at how the draft might open up now - TDN predictive board , me picking for the Bengals after the last two days signings...

1. Joe Burrow - QB

33. Tee Higgins -WR (could have taken Reagor instead)

65. Isaiah Wilson - OT

107. Akeem Davis-Gaither - LB,

147. Michael Onwenu -IOL

180. Antonio Gandy-Golden- WR

215. Gipson- EDGE

Thats a lockdown draft..nice job..

Love to get Isaiah with top pick in 3rd.

As Muddy Waters once sang..he's a "Mannish Boy"..

It's definitely going to be a much better run defense.  It seems they are building a defense to stop Lamar.

I guess Zac hasn’t been getting Hobson’s input regarding available cap space...

Now they need to actually coach better and add at least a few more scouts and we are getting somewhere.

Vonn Bell and Jesse Bates as our safety combo.

Wow.   Gives me the willies just thinking about it.

Worth the price of admission and just the thought of

seeing them knock the snot out of Jar Jar Binks Shrimper

or Hedy Lamar Jackson boogalooing in the backfield...

There it is. It's hard to assess the coaching with what they had to work with last season.
