MichaelWeston
Davis is important. He is a solid backup slot. Only played 50 snaps last year though.
Jamie_B
Cool, now get Joe, Tee, Von, Hayden, and maybe Eli and Logan (expecting Pratt to leave) done.

Eli... maybe/meh. Chito is coming back and Taylor-Britt will have some OJT experience. I like him. Apple talks to much.
sparky151
Agreed Apple should talk less but he's a starting caliber NFL CB on a cheap contract. The Bengals need deals like that. 1

Every year I try to talk him off the roster and the reality is we aren't getting a better corner at his price tag. 1

sparky151
To tender Wilcox as a Restricted Free Agent, they would have had to offer over 2 million dollars per year. They used to do that for backup guys like Tupou but are smarter about it now that it's not so hard to sign free agents. Wilcox deserves a chance to test the market but I doubt anyone else gives him that much. He'll probably get a deal for 1 year, close to minimum with a bit of signing bonus. Maybe another team gives him an opportunity for more snaps but maybe he signs somewhere then they draft a TE early and he's buried on the depth chart. My guess is he comes back with the Bengals. If he doesn't, it's not a significant loss.

I_C_Deadpeople
Heavier in year 1 which helps with the larger salaries for the JB, Tee and Chase down the road

|BlackJesus|
As long as this team has Burrow, Chase, and Higgins they are contenders. That's the plan. Keep the Big 3 whatever it takes, and then get mid tier guys on cheaper hometown contracts around them (like Pratt's). No need to panic. Our star WRs are on a yacht doing 'boats and hos' cameos, as they know they still have Shiesty. And that's enough.

Jamie_B
Not sure if he will play LT or RT, but that solves a major problem. Go get a S, resign Apple and we should be ok to get the rest of the needs in the draft.
