Surprised they'll beat Cleveland.?

Is that with or without JB?

I, unfortunately, agree with Earl and will be surprised if they beat Cleveland, too.

I said elsewhere that this game will, in effect, be their fourth preseason game and

the first time the starting O and D will be playing together and Joe's first live snaps.

Cheeto's, too, I think.

Communication, "knocking the rust off" and all of that.  And a Cleveland home game.

Virtually, their Super Bowl.

STILL...  really hope they do.

Hope they pound the Clowns in their own circus.

Would love to see Rubby Tuggy eat a big Johnson III.

So you're saying we won't be able to see beer all season because they will lose the opener?

:rsju31uh9:

I can't see them losing to the Rats at home for the opener.

They and the crowd will be amped through the ceiling with the game

and Oktoberfest going on downtown... good times!

In case anyone forgot.

I guess I'll say 11-6...which likely means we gotta go on the road in the playoffs again

11-6? You kidding me. We will win 11 games before the 14th week.

When I get bored at work I draw with MS Paint lol..

The division is going to be tough as is the AFC in general.

Losses are @ Cleveland, Baltimore, Pittsburgh and KC.  Home loss against Seattle after beating SF on the road after the bye.

We NEVER beat the 49ers.. Lost 4 out of last 5 against them.. I will be at this game though! I only ever got to go to Raiders, and 49ers games, and now with the Raiders gone this is my only chance to see the Bengals unless Sacramento gets a pro team. We are #20th in media market but only have the Sacramento Kings. We are the largest media markets that have less than two pro teams. But hey, I guess we are probably going to get an Major League Soccer team in the next few years. Soccer sucks.

Other Bengals season predictions ...

- Team is undefeated at the Bye week (6-0)

- Ja'Marr breaks 1,700 yards rec

- Burrow breaks 5,000 yards passing

- Hendrickson gets 15 sacks

- CTB gets 5 Int, with 2 pick sixes

Pro Bowlers (6): Burrow, Ja'Marr, OBj, Hendrickson, Wilson, CTB

- With the Bengals as Super Bowl Champions, both Lou and Callahan get poached at the end of the season to be HCs.

Here's my prediction for 2023:

@ Cleveland Browns--L

Baltimore Ravens--W

L. A. Rams--W

@ Tennessee Titans--W

@ Arizona Cardinals--W

Seattle Seahawks--W

@ San Francisco 49ers--L

Buffalo Bills--W

Houston Texans--L

@Baltimore Raven--L

Pittsburgh Stealers--W

@Jacksonville Jaguars--W

Indianapolis Colts--W

Minnesota Vikings--L

@Pittsburgh Stealers--W

@ Kansas City Chiefs--L

Cleveland Browns--W

Record: 11-6 overall, 4-2 in the division, and 8-4 in the AFC. However, I feel this year we will be a Wild-Card team.

There will be the stumbles (hence me picking Houston, San Francisco, Minnesota, and Kansas City as winners) and I think we will stumble at Cleveland the first time. We split with Clevland And Baltimore, and sweep Pittsburgh--even though those games will be close.    And honestly, I think we work better on the road in the playoffs than at home. But in general the Bengals will be the better team in the vast majority of games.  Any given Sunday, though.

Of course, I would be so giddy if my prediction is horribly wrong in a wonderful way.  But I'm a bit of a realist.

My caveat on this is that if we lose the first game against Cleveland in a lackluster fashion (like we've been doing with Cleveland) then I buy into the slow start and revise this downward by 3 wins.

BUT...I'm assuming they come out and blow the doors off Cleveland in week 1...I just think they put the full package together this year.

@ Cleveland Browns--W

Baltimore Ravens--W

L. A. Rams--W

@ Tennessee Titans--W

@ Arizona Cardinals--W

Seattle Seahawks--W

@ San Francisco 49ers--W

Buffalo Bills--W

Houston Texans--W

@Baltimore Raven--L

Pittsburgh Stealers--W

@Jacksonville Jaguars--W

Indianapolis Colts--W

Minnesota Vikings--W

@Pittsburgh Stealers--L

@ Kansas City Chiefs--W

Cleveland Browns--L

14-3, 1st seed locked in final week, rest people and lose to Cleveland, SB win.  Finally.

If we lose week 1 and look discombobulated...then I pull back and figure we're more like 11-6 and hitting the road.  But still maybe winning the whole damn thing.

Really want to see a good week 1...

The one thing that scares me is our crappy punter Brad Robbins. Sure he has hang time but a 40 yard average is not going to cut it. When he kicked from the end zone the other teams will start in our territory. That's not acceptable. When punting from deep on our end the opposing team will be a first down and a few yards from a FG attempt. We needed to sign Ariza when it was found out that that stupid lady was lying about him even being there (which he wasn't even there when she got raped). I was watching some interviews and he seems like a good kid even though someone tried (and possibly) to ruin his career, which is still up in the air.
