|High School Harry|
Not feeling great about the game. Still think it will be open season on Joe. If the Bengals built a race car and Joe Burrow is the driver I think the front right tire man be a bit low on air and out of camber seeing what Elf Garret did to Jonah last year. The Elves tout Garret's sack record but how many came on Jonah? Moving him to the right is not going to improve him even if not facing Myles the Elf. And to be coldly honest, we have yet to see Orlando Brown take a real snap as a Bengal. And Joe Sixgun still can't block for shit in the backfield. For me, keeping Joe Burrow uninjured is a priority and I see a lot of cheap shots. Control the game, refs. I also see at least one major brawl. Bengals 23 - Elves 10 In Mac I Trust. Waston is heading to the last massage table. 1

Le Tigre
So does a stiff drink or a round of golf. Or both. 🙂

Or both. 🙂 Nothing like swinging some sticks before Sunday afternoon nfl games. A stiff drink for me is adding extra ginger to my fresh fruit or veggie juice. Ginger calms the stomach, which is the epicenter of manifested nervousness. Played the Grizzly Course at Kings Island. A nice little challenge.

It is remarkably tough—lulls you to sleep then bites you in the backside. I’m mulling either viewing the game today at a pub, or heading over to Virtues (formerly Longeberger GC) for an afternoon round.

This is Cleveland's Super Bowl, a win makes them media darlings for another 2-3 weeks. Reality check ✅

Arkansas Bengal
How concerning is the Week 1 offensive showing? Even a mild ringing of alarm bells seems like extreme behavior. Yes, quarterback Joe Burrow struggled and threw for a career-low 82 yards. But context is important -- Burrow is still recovering from a strained right calf, he battled wet conditions that made passing miserable, and the offense looked like a group that didn't have a ton of preseason reps with its starting quarterback. It might take time for Burrow and the offense to get in sync. Stock up after the loss: The Bengals' pass rush. Cincinnati's defensive line pressured Deshaun Watson early and sacked him three times, a great sign for a unit that needed to be more disruptive than it was in 2022. Stock down after the loss: Cincinnati's run defense. Browns running back Nick Chubb and Watson were able to reel off some big runs, with the Browns totaling 206 yards on the ground, which was huge for Cleveland on a day when passing conditions were not good. -- Ben Baby https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38338359/nfl-week-1-2023-questions-risers-fallers-takeaways-lessons-stats#cincle
